庭の梅の木をアブラ虫が全ての枝を覆っていて

明らかに葉が弱ってきたので、牛乳をスプレーして駆除しました。

何千もの命を奪ってしまった…。

昔なら何も感じなかったけど、年取ると虫の命でも奪うのは気がひけるなぁ…。

I have a plum tree in my garden with aplomb beetles covering all the branches.

The leaves were obviously getting weak, so I sprayed them with milk to get rid of them.

They have taken thousands of lives....

In the past I wouldn't have felt anything, but as I get older, I don't feel comfortable taking even insects' lives...
