庭の清掃中羽化したてで地面に落下してしまったクマゼミを保護しました。

庭で5年もかけて育ってきた小さな命放っておけない(´;ω;`)

灼熱の午後1時に出てくるなんて自殺行為やで…

地面から羽化するため上がってきた時、運悪く逆さまにしたバケツの内側に出てしまい夜だと思って羽化してしまったようだ。

羽化直後のセミは少しの衝撃で死んでしまうからすごく扱いに困った💦

今は大分色がついてきたので、完全に固まったら庭の木に放つつもり。

右側の羽が地面に落ちた影響でくしゃくしゃになってしまい、傷つけないよう引っ張って伸ばしたけど少し変形があるから飛べないかもしれない。

I was cleaning the garden when I saw a freshly hatched blackbird that had fallen to the ground.

It had just hatched and fell to the ground.

I can't leave this little life that has been growing in my garden for five years alone.

It was suicidal to come out at 1 p.m. in the scorching heat...

When it came up from the ground to hatch, it was unlucky to find itself inside an upside-down bucket, so it thought it was night and hatched.

The cicadas that have just hatched can be killed by the slightest shock, so it was very difficult to handle them💦.

I'm going to release them into the trees in the garden when they are fully hardened.

The wing on the right side is crumpled from falling on the ground, and I pulled it out to stretch it out so as not to damage it, but it's a little deformed so it may not be able to fly.

そしてなんと夕方に庭の木を切っていたら、羽化してないセミの幼虫を発見！

And what a surprise, when I was cutting down a tree in the garden in the evening, I found a cicada larva that had not yet hatched!

可愛い…！

クマ蝉の幼虫を見るのは初めて！羽化前の幼虫を見るのも25年ぶりです。

So cute...!

This is the first time I've seen a bear cicada larva! It's also been 25 years since I've seen a larva before it hatches.

触って羽化不全でも起こしたら嫌なので放置。

この幼虫は無事羽化に成功しました。

幼虫は大抵気持ち悪い見た目してるけどセミの幼虫は可愛さしか感じないなぁ☺️

甥っ子が「セミの鳴き声は聞いたことはあるけど見たことはないから見たい」と言ってたらしく親が写真撮って送ってました。

この写真も送ってもらいました☺️

子供のころはよく蝉採りして遊んでたのでセミは私にとって特別な昆虫😌

My nephew said he's heard the sound of cicadas, but never seen one, so he wanted to see one, and his parents took a picture and sent it to me.

My parents took pictures and sent them to me.

When I was a kid, I used to play with cicadas, so cicadas are a special insect to me😌.

Today is Cicada Memorial Day.
