May 2023 Exclusive Picture: Kokiri (Pixiv Fanbox)

Hi guys! First of all, I want to thank you all for being patient with me and for your well-wishes. I certainly didn't expect to get hit by Covid after dodging that bullet for 3 years, but it happened anyway. I'm still in the process of recovery, so May will probably not be my most productive month. I do apologise. Now, let's have a look at the results of the Mother's Day poll. I think it was clear pretty quickly that it would be a contest between Kokiri from "Kiki's Delivery Service" and Carla Jaeger from "Attack On Titan". It's strange, because I thought the presence of both Kokiri and Yasuko Kusakabe on the same list would have split the Ghibli vote more, but in the end I have drawn Yasuko more often than Kokiri, so I can imagine the demand being a bit larger. Still, Yasuko ended in a respectable 4th place. Also, a very interesting and unexpected third place for Penelope from "Ulysses 31", a character I have never drawn or even considered. I think that's a good indication I should do something with her in the future. So for the moment, enjoy your Kokiri! She was suggested by Mi-Loup, so congratulations on winning! Carla will be featured in 2 weeks time as the Twice Is Nice picture. And as promised: because this is my 100th Exclusive picture, both it and the upcoming Carla Jaeger picture will be available to all patrons at any level all throughout the month of May.
