飛行機と艦船の作画 (Pixiv Fanbox)

支援者の方からどのように飛行機や艦船を描いてるの？という質問があったのですごく簡単にまとめてみました。

●飛行機 Aircraft

これはF-104を作画したときの過程です。

This is the process I went through when I made the F-104.

大まかな形を描き、バランスを確認しながら細部を整えていきます。

このイラストは内部図解も兼ねているのであまりディフォルメされていません。

(ディフォルメすると構造内部に入り切らないパーツが出てきてしまうからです)

I draw a rough shape and arrange the details while checking the balance.

This illustration is not so deformed because it is also an internal illustration.

(This is because if you deform it, there will be parts that do not fit inside the structure.)

航空機を描く場合は先端から尻尾をつなく線を中心に形を把握していきます。

だいたいの航空機はエンジンが１基の場合、推進力の方向軸が機体の中心になります。

(ちなみにF-104は約17ｍ、零戦は約9ｍです。ジェット機は大きいですね！)

When drawing an aircraft, the shape is grasped based on the line connecting the tip to the tail.

In most aircraft with one engine, the directional axis of propulsion is the center of the fuselage.

(Incidentally, the F-104 is about 17m and the Zero fighter is about 9m. Jets are big!)

中心線を目安に胴体を描き、胴体に翼がどのようについているかを観察していくといろんな角度から航空機を描くことができます。

Draw the fuselage using the center line as a guide, and observe how the wings are attached to the fuselage. Then you can draw the aircraft from any angle.

ただ厄介な点は翼には角度がついており、斜めから見ると描くのが難しいかもしれません。

その場合は模型を観察することでわかりやすくなると思います。

The only troublesome point is that the wings are angled, so it may be difficult to draw them when viewed from an angle.

In this case, it will be easier to understand by observing the model.

●艦船 SHIPS

これは最近描いたSMSエムデンです。

This is the process of creating the SMS Emden that I recently drew.

こちらも大まかな形から段々と調整されていく様子がわかると思います。

I think you can see how it was adjusted from a rough shape to a gradual adjustment.

艦船の中でも大きな戦艦は一見複雑で描くのが難しいと感じるかもしれません。

というか、難しい上に面倒くさいです。

The larger battleships may at first glance feel complex and difficult to draw.

Yes, it's difficult and troublesome.

そんな戦艦ですが、上甲板を中心に考えるとわかりやすいかもしれません。

以下は僕が艦船を描くときにイメージしていることです。

The following is what I have in mind when I draw a ship.

いきなり完成形をみると複雑さに尻込みしてしまうかもしれませんが、順を追って描きすすめると意外と描けるような気になります。

If you look at the finished form, you may be tempted to give up on the complexity. However, if you think about it step by step, you will be able to draw unexpectedly.

模型が好きな方はピンとくるかもしれませんが、これは艦船模型を作る手順に似ています。

艦船は航空機よりもさらに大きいので模型を観察するほうが近道かもしれません。

Ships are even bigger than aircraft, so observing a model may be a shorter way.
