みこやんの制作現場 (Pixiv Fanbox)

今回はみこやんの制作現場を少しご紹介します。

This time, I'd like to show you a little bit of where I work.

＜メイン作業スペース＞Main workspace.

ここでいつも作画作業を行っています。
This is where I always do my art work.
だいたい一日で10時間ほど仕事を行う場所なので、僕にとって作業しやすいようにカスタマイズされています。なんとなくみなさんが想像する作業環境どおりかもしれません。
It's where I do about 10 hours of work in a day, so it's customized to make it easier for me to work.It may be the same working environment that you imagine.

現在はフリーランスですが、ゲーム会社に勤務していた時と同じような作業環境です。
I'm a freelancer now, but it's the same kind of work environment I had when I worked for a game company.

作画に使っているWACOM液晶タブレットは27インチサイズです。
これはA4サイズの本の原稿を見開きで等倍で確認することができるので便利です。
サブモニターには資料写真を表示したり、イラストの色味を確認したりします。
The WACOM tablet used to create the picture is 27 inches in size.
This is useful because it allows I to check the manuscript of an A4 size book at equal magnification in a two-page spread.
The sub-monitor displays photos of the material and checks the colors of the illustrations.

いろいろとフィギュアがありますが、人体の陰影を見るのにも便利です。
もちろん、癒やし効果も高いです(´∀｀)
There are a variety of figures, but it's also useful to see the shadows of the human body.
Of course, it's also highly soothing!:D

＜書斎＞study room

アイデアを練ったり、事務作業を行うスペースです。
ノートPCではテレビ会議を行うこともあります。
This is a space where I can work out ideas and do office work.
A laptop computer may also be used for video conferencing.

ここは万が一、メイン作業スペースの機材が故障した場合の作業スペースとなります。
This will be the work space in case the equipment in the main workspace breaks down.
(いぜん、〆切の1週間前に液晶タブレットが故障するという事態を経験しました)
(I've had my LCD tablet malfunction a week before a deadline)

将来的にここへデータ保全のためのサーバーを設置予定です。
In the future, we plan to set up a server here for data preservation.

＜制作資料＞production materials

ミリタリーの解説を制作する上で様々な資料が必要となります。
最近では電子版が入手しやすいですが、古い資料となると紙の本になります。
とても高額な上に重く、大きいです。
A variety of materials are needed in the production of military commentary.
These days, electronic versions are easier to obtain, but when it comes to older material, it's a paper book.
It's heavy and big on top of being very expensive.
ほかにも風景や人体、動物など様々な資料があります。
Other materials include landscapes, human bodies, and animals.

ということで、みこやんは日々このような場所で制作活動を行っています。
So, Mikoyan is working in this kind of place every day.
