MC☆あくしず６０号が３月１９日に発売となります！

今回は『F-4ファントムⅡは年上ヒロインお姉さん』特集です。

みこやんはF-4EJ改を中心にカラー２ページ、モノクロ２ページで解説しました。

長らく多くの国の空軍で運用されたF-4も退役の時期を迎えています。

日本でも先日F-4のラストフライトがあり、長い現役生活の幕を閉じました。

みなさんもよくご存知の戦闘機だと思います。

The F-4, which has been in service with the air forces of many countries for a long time, is now entering its retirement period.

In Japan, the last flight of the F-4 took place the other day, bringing the curtain down on its long active service.I'm sure you are all familiar with this fighter plane.

登場当時、F-4 ファントムIIはアメリカの戦闘機の中では大きく重い戦闘機でした。

At the time of its introduction, the F-4 Phantom II was the larger and heavier of the American fighters.

On the left side of the photo is the F-4 (reconnaissance type RF-4).

以前解説したWW2の一式陸攻や雷電と比べると戦闘機がどんどん大きくなったことがわかります。

You can see that the fighters have become bigger and bigger compared to the WW2 Mitsubishi Navy Type 1 attack bomber and Raiden that I explained before.

ところでF-4は名前がファントム「II」となっていますが、先代は1945年に初飛行を行ったFHファントムです。

By the way, the F-4 is named Phantom "II", its predecessor was the FH Phantom, which made its first flight in 1945.

マクドネル社(McDonnell Aircraft Corporation)のラインナップを初代ファントムからファントムⅡまで並べてみてみると進化の過程が見て取れて楽しいです。

ベトナム戦争中、被弾して敵の勢力下を脱出することができない僚機をなんと空中で「押して」助けたというお話です。

The story goes that during the Vietnam War, he "pushed" a plane in the air to help a colleague who was hit and could not escape from the enemy's airspace.
