おかげさまで本日、16年使い続けたメインモニターを新しくすることができました！

というモニターです。

Thanks to you, today I was able to get a new main monitor after 16 years of use!

The monitor is called EIZO ColorEdge CS2731.

従来の24インチから27インチとなり非常に作業がしやすい環境となりました。

It is now 27 inches long and is very easy to work with.

EIZOはかつてはナナオとしてCRT時代からゲーム開発現場で馴染みのあるモニターメーカーです。映像や印刷物の色味チェックの基準モニターにしていたので、私にはとても信頼感のあるモニターです。

EIZO is a monitor manufacturer that I have been familiar with in game development since the days of CRTs as Nanao. I used to use them as my reference monitor to check the color tone of images and printed materials, so they are very reliable to me.

ゲームの開発ではデータチェックのための基準モニターで色彩チェックを行い、さらに市販のモニターで一番普及しているモニターを使ってユーザーがプレイする環境で色味チェックをして大多数のプレイヤーたちに制作者の意図通りの色が体験できるようにしています。

In game development, we use a reference monitor for data checking and then use the most common monitors on the market to check the color in the environment the user is playing on, so that the majority of players can experience the colors as the creator intended.

モバイルゲームの時代になってもAndroidのゲームでは一番高画質のモデルと一番普及しているモデルを使って画面のチェックを行います。

Even in the age of mobile gaming, we still use both the highest quality and most popular models of Android games to check the screen.

ちなみにサウンドチームもハイレゾな音響機器でチェックを行いますが、同時に安くてあまり良くない音響機器でもチェックを行います。

ゲーム制作では色味のチェックと言っても様々なユーザー環境を想定して試行錯誤しています。

Incidentally, the sound team will also check it with high-resolution equipment. And we also use cheap and not-so-good sound equipment to check. In game production, we go through a trial-and-error process to check colors for a variety of user environments.

それはともかく、作画環境の目となるモニターが新しくなることでとても気分が一新します。これからもどんどん楽しいものを作り出していこうと思います！(n‘∀‘)ηｶﾞﾝﾊﾞﾙｿﾞｰ!

Regardless, it's very refreshing to have a new monitor that is the eye of the drawing environment. I'll be creating more and more fun stuff in the future!
