Due to updates in the policies of a certain platform, I will not be able to continue using Fanbox as a means of obtaining financial support, since I will not have a way to manage the pledges.

I will proceed to eliminate Plans B, A and S at this time so that no one else can subscribe.

I will publish content on Fanbox until September 19 or 20 approximately, after that, no more publications will be made on this platform.

The content will be available to all users until the day on which the final publication is announced.

Thank you all so much for your support and pixivFanbox, I never expected to receive so much support for what I do, it made me happy 😭

These days I will have some medical emergencies, after this I will see where I will move my activities, but I anticipate that it is extremely likely to be to Patreon / Discord.

So when the time comes I'll put it in a post about it, I'll thank those who can continue to support there.

With nothing more to say, see you very soon.

we'll support you wherever you go! I just hope patreon's strict rules don't effect the more hardcore content. They consider a firm handshake to be rape.

So sad to hear that... It's harder for me to pledge on Patreon, since yen is cheaper than US dollars, but I'll try to make an effort. Also, fuck PPal.

Kinda sad to see it happen, but I'll continue supporting if you move to someplace else :)

It is quite sad to see this happen, hopefully the Patreon rules don't affect your content, not matter where you go we all hope the best for you mate!

will you continue gumroad?

KajunBowser

P4pl just seems to have a hard-on for hating money, it seems. I look forward to seeing how you plan to go about handling this predicament. And yeah, Patreon can be sucky about this stuff when they eventually do a sweep. The fortunate thing is that there are many alternatives, and it comes down to choosing the best one for you that can accommodate the most people. Hang in there!

If you continue to work on other platforms, then by all means let me continue to support you! I can't live without your paintings!🥰

Nquanta

Patreon could be pretty strict on contents....especially when it's pretty hardcore. And an additional platform could be also hard to manage, so hopefully we still have gumroad as an option🫠 Anyway thank you for all the works, will continue to support you😆

Patreon is a censorious shithole that will stab you in the back sooner or later. What happened/changed to fanbox ?

Anonymous

That is sad to hear. It would be wonderful if you could in maybe your last or second to last post make a compilation file of all your work on Fanbox so it's easier for us to save it all before it goes.

So many people are misundertanding that fear mongering tweet. It has always been the case with pp, but they only decided to make it clear now. They always went after people that had pp.me links in their pr0n twitters, commission sheets, had NSFW keywords in their invoices, etc - that's how they "crawl your social media sites" and such. The main reason behind it all is that individual transactions from nsfw freelancers/sellers is related to a lot of fraud, chargebacks, and disputes - same with credit card companies. Pp knows very well what a huge portion of creators on patreon, fanbox and gumroad are doing, but because these sites have comprehensive refund and chargeback policies and legal backing (fanbox outright doesn't allow refunds), they deem these platforms as low risk and therefore allows integration. Kinda like why they allow some nsfw sites but not subscribestar, due to their loose restrictions.

My concern is the following: If after the date of the pp terms of use update; not because of mismanagement, because there is no fraud and never has been, but if by bad luck, they decide to suspend my pp account, I would have no way to withdraw the money from the donations, I do not have a Japanese bank account, so that money would stay there, in the nothingness. Take the risk and wait if it happens on September 19? Maybe something happens, maybe it is as you say and nothing happens. I would really like to stay at Fanbox, I feel comfortable here with all of you and work the way I have been doing so far. But ultimately, if everything goes really bad, I already have possibly a plan B, but I will be able to confirm it next week yet.

That's a shame, it's quite comfortable here. Is there any platform on which it is possible to find *all* of your art together?

thanabis

No, there isn't, and yes, Fanbox is a very nice place, and I'm thinking of staying despite the risks that this entails, but I'll put it more clearly in a post in a few days, I want to finish a drawing I'm doing first.

Which details does Fanbox ask for payouts to a bank account? If it's just Name/IBAN/BIC then you can open a JPY account on services like Revolut. If they ask for an address in Japan then RIP.
