Highlights of the post include:


- New model available full body: "Bunny Akane".

- Model update: "Manaka Non" to 1.3.

- Update video of all wips.

- Update of my last wip (1:16 min + sound).

Description:

I started working on the missing details in my wip published in my previous post, things related to animating the arms, hands and fingers of the three main models, something that took me a long time because on many occasions I had to do frame animation per frame per bone in a stretch of 2000 frames... added to the fact that I had big personal setbacks this last week, so for this time I was only able to make this point in terms of animation progress.


So far I have 7 of the 9 minutes of animation update where I decided to update because it was a fragment that I had done a long time ago and it clashed with my current style.


Also, I uploaded my video where it contains all the wips so you can see where I am. For my next post the objective will be to do these 2 missing minutes.


I leave you a summary of my activities related to the project:


- General progress of animation update (90% approx).

- Updated the animation of all models from frame 10900 to 13205.

- Backup of the save files of all animations made up to 29/06/2023 was made.

- Added copy model of "Yuyuko" to configure and apply the "op" fix, now all models have their copy.

- Fixed a big problem in the configuration of the leg bones in the "Yuyuko" model:

After a long time, a problem in the leg bones was fixed, this caused that, when loading a copy of any model and copying a previous animation, the leg bones were adjusted in a strange position even though it already had animation Previous, and I didn't have a specific method to fix it in mmd, now it was fixed in pmx by deleting hidden bones and changing the parent configuration of each leg.


Total animated frames so far is: 26300 (14:36 min).

Description:

Talking with a friend, a possible future project was planned where one of the protagonists would be a chibi model, so I found this one and I tried to make it full body.

I think the model was exported from a game and lacked things like physics, morphs, ect.

I leave here a summary of the things I did:


- Separated body and outfit parts into different individual materials.

- A copy of the outfit material was made and a copy image was assigned as a texture.

- The first version of the body mesh ("upper body" and "lower body") was created taking the outfit as a reference.

- The mesh of the nipples was modified and created taking as reference the proportions of the clothes.

- Made changes to "UVs" in the "upper body".

- The first version of the body texture (upper body and nipples) was created.

- Added the original "upper body" material, now there are two.

- 6 morphs were created:

[- halo]

[- ears bunny]

[- glasses]

[- scarf]

[- bunny tail]

[- bunny clothes]

...

- Removed some bones without weighting.

- The mesh of the skull was symmetrical.

- The mesh of the external part of the mouth (lips) was created since the model has a png image as a mouth.

- The Maya of the internal part of the mouth (palate) was created.

- A texture was assigned to the inside of the mouth.

...

- The first version of the full body mesh was modified and genital mesh was added.

- Made changes to "UVs" in the "lower body".

- Modified the first version of the texture of the mesh of the full body.

- 6 changes were made in the weighting in the lower body area.

- Added mesh of teeth and tongue from a reference model.

...

- Made improvements to 10 lower body morphs.

- Version "0.9"

The model still lacks facial morphs, so the next thing would be to learn and make some of them.

Description:

I experienced some changes in the mouth area and in other parts of the model, here a summary:

- Added the "jaw" bone in the mouth area.

- The ik bone system was made in the "jaw" bone, limit parameters were added.

- Weighting was performed for the "jaw" bone.

- Added a bone for the upper lip and another for the lower lip.

...

- 16 materials that made up the genitals were joined in one.

- Made slight improvements to the mesh of the genitals.

- Updates and improvements were made to most of the morphs of the genitals and the mouth.

- A new morph was created.

- Improvements were made in the weighting in the mouth area.

- Finished configuring the new mandible bones.

...

- Found a problem in which the model file name caused mmd to crash when trying to load other models after this one, it was fixed by changing the file name.
