After eight years with Patreon, I finally posted some art that offended someone, and now my account is suspended along with my income. Are “Andy’s Dames” getting cancelled? They don’t have to be!

Even if I get Patreon back, it won’t be for long. I can still use a few functions, so while I can’t reply to messages, I think I can send this one out in bulk. If someone could email me back directly at andysdames@gmail.com to let me know you got this, that would be great. Otherwise, I’m going to try setting up an account at another mail service to reach you, since I know bulk emails through gmail usually get filtered.

Instead of getting cancelled, I want to rebuild “Andy’s Dames” into something better than ever. Things were going great a couple years ago, but now my wife’s health is deteriorating, I’m an embarrassing $11,000 behind on bills, and I stupidly botched both interviews at the only job I could find in walking distance (we have one car) that could make ends meet. But I’m convinced that we can pull this together and keep our “Dames” on their feet. Please follow us over to subscribestar.com/andysdames and let’s show those that can’t just scroll past art they don’t like that they’ve helped us get stronger. Cancel culture sucks.

There will be some changes, but we’re due to freshen things up anyway.

The first one is the hardest for me. This is the last month for our format of four exclusives, usually crammed in the back half of the month. I know it’s not fair for the dozen of you who have supported us for so long or waited patiently for years to finally get a slot. I’m sorry, guys. There’s no way I can make it work that’s fair to everyone, I wish I could.

But, we will still have new exclusive art, hopefully much more regularly, in a new format. There is also a new $15 “Art Collector” tier that will give you a 20% discount in my stores, and that will double to 40% briefly during the “flash” sale I’m about to start!

Last Update from AndysDames on Patreon: We've Moved!

Hi guys, I'm sending one last message out through my dashboard at Patreon, which is about all I can do with it. I hope it gets through. I want to give you three quick answers to questions I've been asked a lot over the last week.

First, my page here isn't coming back. It's stuck in "Under Review" status, probably forever, because there's no way I can get it back into compliance without removing all of my work from not just here, but all of the sites I post to. So, what's the point? I've pushed the button to "unpublish" the page, but I guess it's just going to hang here until someone at Patreon takes it out of "Under Review" status so it can quietly vanish at last.

Secondly, I got a notice on my side that says your account won't be charged while the page is still "Under Review." But, just to make sure, I'd recommend un-subscribing from me here, since there's no way I can do anything here anyway. I'm surprised that almost all of my Patreon subscribers are still signed up here. Only about 10% have unsubscribed. It's been wonderful to see some familiar names join us over at subscribestar.adult/andysdames but at least half of the people who have joined us there are actually new members who came from social media sites. Won't you come join us while we build a new, better community?

Third, although I can't post to Patreon, I'm still working just like always, and the archive at behindandysdames is still alive and growing! Obviously this week was a little off kilter, but I'm still doing what I do, with new ideas in the works. I hope you'll consider following me over to subscribestar.adult/andysdames and joining our new, improved community. Right away, you'll notice that on subscribestar, I can post new art directly at the feed, instead of keeping it off the platform. I love it! Now it's quick and easy to just drop in, see what's new, and then you only have to use the archive if you want the high-resolution file, or feel like browsing the archive.
