242 - Aerial Promo shoot (Patreon)

For years I've been shooting performers at an Adelaide-based Aerial school.

On Saturday I did a promo shoot for one of the shows they'll be performing at the Upcoming Adelaide Fringe festival in early 2024. It was quite the undertaking as we shot 23 performers over 5 hours, which you can see the timelapse of on my YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1kKMrRjLZQ

The issue with shooting aerialists is their faces might be anywhere from against the floor to against the ceiling paired with the fact that due to the movement lights can't be too close. e had one close call where a tall light was struck and just saved my my assistant.

Light position, face angle relative to lights, and pose direction all while the performer is spinning make it an interesting time trying to snap frames while all things align.
