The name Steamkittens in part comes from the fact I started my photographic journey volunteering for the RSPCA 10 years ago. The RSPCA today posted an article about this milestone.

It is somewhat sanitised because I went in know the piece they wanted and couldn't show some of the more powerful graphic images I would have liked, or of the animals that for one reason for another had to be euthanised. I have very grateful for the journey I have taken with the RSPCA which has been both sad and rewarding.
