So, this time around I wanted to try a different atmosphere, because in most works the returning colors for Neuvillette pieces are the same - I love his office for sex encounters but I had a different vision... I wanted to make it look like they're under the moonlight *for no reason, my brain simply commanded me so*  and make it romantic 💘

The process has been the wildest so far, with me putting all highlights and shadows on a single layer and from the beginning. In most of my processes, you may notice how I start with flat colors and progressively add shadows, then highlights (like in [ Zhongzhu ] Baizhu Week Day 4 HD (+ process + PSD)  and [ Wriolette ] A bite of cake 🍑 HD (+ process + PSD)).

This time, I wanted to check how my "moonlight atmosphere" vision would look on the entire page, because I feared of going too far and realizing it wasn't working too late - so I slapped all colors on one layer and at that point I thought it would've taken me more time to restart from flat colors instead of proceeding from there.
The rendering has been harder because I felt like I had introduced many colors too soon, it took me more time to obtain smooth gradients and often had to double check the shadows placement, but I'm pretty happy with the final result!

An additional note on the difficulty of obtaining smooth gradients:

I wasn't happy with the version on the left because brush strokes in the highlighted areas appeared muddy, so I reworked them to obtain the smoother result on the right.

It's been pointed out that the brush strokes in the first image can read as intentional, for "skinnier people can have areas where their muscles are sharply defined and have heavier dips in their skin. Especially when their muscles are tensed, so how it was in the first pic kinda felt like that’s what was going on" - true!

Two factors came into play here: rendering style and the muscle definition as mentioned. In my rendering, I use soft round airbrushes for everything, including the more sculpted body parts - this time I tried using a little harder brushes, specifically in the highlighted areas and with the intent of sculting muscles! The thing is, in order to successfully sculpt a body with hard brushes you need more anatomy and rendering knowledge than I feel I have; the brush strokes I did look amateur-ish to me, I preferred just smoothing the surface for a more polished result!
I gotta do more muscle studies to improve on their definition 💪
