Sunyoul trusted his team enough to step outside his comfort zone, while Sanghyun trapped his team inside it. How old is Kim Seohyung really? (and how low can that voice go...) I'm over the Geonu criticism. It's his thing, leave it be already. I've now given up on trying to understand anything relating to how the final four are chosen. I'll just sit back and enjoy these incredible vocal performances and be happy for whoever makes it.

I was so happy for him - Jeup's group disbanded and he deserves another chance at this - the industry would be idiots to let go of him. I was a casual Imfact fan before, but istg every time he sings and gets the compliments he deserves, I want to cry. (okay maybe I'm a teenie bit biased haha). And Seonyul ... my boy ... how does he still sound so goddamn good even when his vocal condition is shot? [Also Taewoo had a huge point about Sanghyun - if all he can sing is ballads and he refuses to try anything else, what's he going to do if he makes it to the final group and they ... don't do ballads? Neon and Taewoo shouldn't have conceded, I understand why they did, but they should have stood their ground and pushed for Sanghyun to try something new. Though it seems like either way, they weren't going to find a lot of harmony; they very much had the opposite problem to their rivals. It's interesting that even the judges seemed to know about the issues they had.]

Not gonna lie, after that performance, Intae shot up to my number 1 spot. THE PURE EMOTION. I also went back to actually watch Minwook and Intae's 2vs2 performance and somebody at Mnet needs to go to jail - to cut THAT from the broadcast, it's one of the best performances of the whole round! 😮 I genuinely think we could see the upset next episode with Team Woongiverse succeeding, it really depends on what the others are going to bring to Fever, that song needs the right attitude to hit big. Bitsaeon did Fever on Peak Time with his team mate and they killed it, I think Jay, Wumuti and Hayoon should at least aim for the level of that performance

I'm so glad we're back on track with a great episode! I'm obviously sad for eliminated contestants, but I agree with you that at least everyone who made it this far had a chance to show off their talents. And I don't believe mnet won't bring back anyone (no spoilers please). I especially liked the song choices this week. I guess it's just my problem, but I am tired of hearing the same covers all the time. You said My Sea was a Bora's song - for me it's a Peak Time/Queendom Puzzle/Girls Planet/Eunkwang/Seungmin song. I'll Be Your Man is a song from Kingdom, To My Youth is a Queendom/Produce X 101 song, Fever is from Peak Time, etc. I wish they keep making less obvious choices, so their performances are more memorable

I really recommend you react to hoppipolla they are an amazing band , they won superband got created on the show they have a cellist 2 amazing vocals and a guitarist totally recommend

Hoppipolla is amazing! Ha Hyunsang, one of their vocalists, has incredible solo music too. So I was super happy to see Woongiverse choosing this! Yay redemption arc for Woong <3 I am SO excited to see Jay, Wumuti, and Hayoon this week. Idk why, but I feel worried the performance won't be amazing for some reason??

If the maths ain't mathing for the group numbers, and you cannot deal with the lack of structure in these eliminations, there are subreddit spoilers that give a good idea of how it all checks out. I was annoyed and couldn't wait. Audiences will finally appreciate these gems (not a spoiler, as it was apparently advertised you could go to these shows). Just throwing it out there.

I absolutely agree on your thought about Geonu!! I LOVE that he’s just enjoying himself “I’m gonna be me cause it’s fun this way!” and honestly he has his own groove and I truly appreciate it and love him more for it!

I was watching random videos on youtube and came across a video with Bobby from Ikon and he was talking to foreign idols that included Soomin, BM from Kard and Le'V. It was pretty funny. Soomin apparently has solo music and a whole youtube channel. You should check it out if you havent already <3

Fun fact about Hoppipolla: they're named after a song by Icelandic shoegaze band Sigur Rós (led by one of Iceland's most distinguished gays, Jónsi). 'Hoppípolla' (pronounced hopp-ee-podd-la) is like an aegyo way to say 'hoppa í polla' which means 'jump into puddles'. I've known about this Korean band for a while, but seeing 'Hoppipolla' displayed on the screen of this Build Up episode still jump-scared the heck out of me, lmao. Love from your #1 beret-who's-also-an-Icelandic-person-in-a-shoegaze-band, lol.

Gotta say, I am SO so tired of judges coming down on Geonu for his expression on stage… they did that repeatedly on I-LAND with him too, telling him he was bad at expressing the song with his movements or face or whatever… TOTAL bullshit because I have seen JUST B live four times now and Geonu’s presence on stage, his energy and his love of performing for us, is absolutely my favorite thing… he’s also an AMAZING dancer and choreographer… JUST B wouldn’t exist without that man’s skills, for real❤️‍🔥
