yeah what you said about the public tv channels vs cable is correct. music bank, music core, and inkigayo are public broadcast shows so they are more "prestigious" and known to be harder to win on vs the other ones which are cable.

so many tears from those two zb1 rock festa videos ; v ;) it really has been a big productive year for our boys. My top 3 ZB1 moments in no particular order are: >ZB1 Japan Fancon stream. So many good moments, from zerose in person and in the international/k-zerose stream chat singing and typing the lyrics to Yura Yura when the technical issues were happening in order to cheer up ZB1, to their incredible cover of Higedandism's I Love, and their joy on stage. > Camp Zerobaseone, where we got to see them all interact outside the pressures of a survival show for the first time as a group >ZB1 Dream Stage "Here I Am" at Kcon LA. I'm not joking when I say it felt like the triumphant pentultimate episode of a fighting BL series...Boys Planet truly was the best anime of 2023, and as my intro to kpop I really have been enjoying the ride. Not serious answer: Gunwook and Matthew's mukbang zb1 folder videos and the 1:1 date saga because they're actually kind of fucking insane

Your comment on a coffee table book reminded me that Ateez actually does this at the end of each “era” they have (ie treasure, world, etc) and they release books with all the lore, the stage outfits, the set designs, and HOURS of behind the scenes documentation that they haven’t release before. If I’m remembering correctly this one about to come out has 9 extra hours of content this time around. All I’m saying is I think other companies could learn a little something 🫣
