Self Love (Patreon)

What is "self love"? This is a concept I was disconnected from for a long time. In a nutshell, if you cannot learn to love yourself, you will have a void in the pit of your gut that will affect how you feel, your interactions with other people, and the way you run your life (or let life.... run over you...)

To love yourself, first, you must make an attempt to know yourself. What makes you happy? For me it's my health, fitness, positive relationships, smiles, creativity, beauty, and helping others. What makes YOU happy? Are you giving yourself what you need to be happy each day?

I snapped this set of selfies after the first shower I had the pleasure of enjoying after a long (and very expensive) last minute flight, which followed an even longer (and smelly!) greyhound ride, which followed an experience in an auto-shop in the middle of nowhere... when I was told my car's headgasket was blown... and that followed a lonely night at a shady motel, and the night prior a freezing cold highway-side wait and long tow truck ride. 

The morning after I accomplished my mission to arrive in San Jose, I took a soapy hot shower, shaved my legs and stuff, and got all clean . I felt so new and happy and reveled in this feeling of love for the moment! This is me in a self embrace, I snapped these selfies  for my Patreon supporters ;)
