Ballerina shoes are an intimidating symbol for me, they represent an archetypal woman of stature, poise, elegance, and PERFECTION. I know you all love me for my imperfections, so when Bob of Art of Women suggested I wear these for this photo set, my first thoughts were that of insecurity.

When I was a very little girl, my best friend and I were in ballet classes together. I thought I wanted to be a ballerina, like in the nutcracker. But I kept getting distracted by the giant foam pit with the springy diving board, the jungle gym bars, and other fun equipment in the ballet-practice space (it was a shared space with the gymnastics classes). While my friend and other classmates were practicing plies and choreography, I was goofing around in the  fun stuff.

Fast forward about 24 years, that friend of mine is now a professional Ballet dancer and has moved to Germany, and I am a wacky artistic nude model, are you surprised?

In these photos, I made my own style of ballet poses. I love experimenting with leg lines and challenging my own flexibility. For you who pledge at least $29 and higher, there are many exciting explicit shots in this set as well!

****Purging for Growth*******

Today I had my third coaching session with the life coach I have hired, and I am starting to see a great shift in the way I feel financially and emotionally. I am also gaining great insight on how to step up my film-making career to new heights, but it's taking some critical thought and purging to grow.

Earlier this year, I upgraded to a higher quality video camera and a higher powered laptop computer- well the level I am at now has surpassed the capabilities of my equipment AGAIN! Since I recently upgraded to a more powerful video editing program, this ultrabook laptop is barely good enough to keep up with the pace of my creative mind while in the workflow space of my Adobe software.

CREATIVE HURDLES ARE UNNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!

My life coach is also a filmmaker, a very successful one at that. He strongly suggested I get a Mac as they are the industry standard in indie filmmaking. Screw the learning curve, I need to get my visions out there. If I want to be serious about being a creative entrepreneur for the rest of my life, I need to CUT THE BS and focus more on improving my knowledge, upgrading to the best equipment, and mastering my own creative techniques  so I can further my life path in this universe.

Of course, I will continue modeling all while accomplishing these goals, my modeling career is symbiotic with my film-making plans. I am making connections with other producers, learning the business practices of other indie film makers, reading up on the new ways of business in this digital age, and continuing to be inspired by the talented artists who hire me to model for them, and by those who support my mission to bring beautiful body positivity to the rest of the world.

So as a result, I am going to buy a Mac laptop on Black Friday, and I will dedicate more time to mastering that machine over the next months to come!

****NEW CHARITY DONATIONS!!!***

Since I am now earning more money on Patreon, I have chosen a new Charity to donate to. I will now donate 10% of my  Patreon funds to "Futures Without Violence"  (this charity has an A+ 97% rating on CharityNavigator) Their mission is:

"To reach new audiences and transform social norms, we train professionals such as doctors, nurses, judges, and athletic coaches on improving responses to violence and abuse. We also work with advocates, policy makers, and others to build sustainable community leadership and educate people everywhere about the importance of respect and healthy relationships.

Our vision is a future without violence that provides education, safety, justice, and hope."

My first donation confirmation screenshot is attached below ;)

Thank you so much for funding my sexy career, I appreciate you all SO MUCH!!! Without Patreon as my creative life-support, I might be toiling in obscurity!

Peace and Love

I love the way you share with us your current insights and such. I appreciate your concerns about your PC speed, as video work is hugely demanding on a processor. I had recently struggled with a Apple desk top for a couple years, but could not seem to find any usable software, so I had to run Parallels on it to run Windows, so what I had was an expensive PC with very limited processor and RAM speed options. The Geniuses at the local Apple store were no help, and eventually were unable to even keep it running for me, so they had to give me a full 100% refund of $3.5k I had spent, since I had bought the Apple Care with it. I used that money to have Fry's build me a kick-ass PC and was much more satisfied than I had been with that Apple. Faster RAM alone helps a lot. You will be limited with most any lap top, but it can be greatly improved at a much lower cost than investing in a new Mac system and all new software. You will find plenty of self help videos on how to make these changes. You may not need to get a huge tower, as they do have some smaller PC desktops cabinets. You can keep your laptop for portability, but then use the desktop at home when you want to do some serious video editing and need the power and speed they offer. Also, solid state hard drives can help improve speed. They are very compact and can be used in your laptop as well. I have a 4 TB Raid 1 set up for my main storage, a 1 TB Solid State for processing work, and a 0.5 TB SS just for the operating software. I hope this info helps you make the best possible investment. No one wants to waste time and money on struggling with all new hardware.

Yay ballet shoes! Although not the route you took, Carrie and I are big supporters of the SF Ballet. It's one of the best in the country. She loves the dance, the sets, the costumes, etc., but my love is mainly for the music. I want to publish at least one ballet before I die and live to see it performed. Very cool about your friend in Germany. As for Macs, that's all we use. I love them. Skitz has a PC. He loves his PC. It's just personal preference. I do my orchestrations on my Mac Air and I do the video editing with Premier Pro (we pay the monthly fee) on Carrie's iMac. It's smoking fast! Good luck with the filmmaking. I hope you get famous! Just keep us in mind for your soundtracks...
