"Nekkid Hippie" BTS video, posing for Theresa Manchester (Patreon)

EDIT- I re-wrote my intro paragraph to repost this, due to typing Patreon posts on not-enough caffeine! Posing for female photographers is a unique experience for me, I usually get booked by male photographers. Sometimes I feel more insecure when posing nude for a woman, perhaps it's that our womanly-intuitions are more in tune with each other's womanness: like posing style, beauty/fashion sense, and other things only girls can usually detect.  The first few nude shoots for female photographers, I was thinking totally wacky childish stuff like:

"I wonder if they are gonna think it's slutty or weird that I shave my full pubic area?" or "I wonder if they are judging my makeup style?" or "I wonder if they're gonna be offended if I do any type of even mildly open legged pose..." 

Through maturing and learning more about how people in my industry mesh in general, I have unleashed myself of most of that anxiety. Now I feel more freed by the artistic and creative characteristics of ANY photographer, regardless of gender. 

When posing for another female who happens to also be a confident travelling nude model, like Theresa Manchester, it's just 125% awesome sauce! Before I ever interacted with her online, I only had seen a few still images of her in other photographers' portfolios, some of these photogs had also hired me when I traveled through their city (mainly the east coast and Saint Louis, as that's where Theresa is based). 

Her bone structure is so intriguing and bold looking, and with all those badass tattoos I felt a little intimidated, and then I saw a video of her somewhere. A super sexy video where she was doing a strip tease for a photographer.... very similar to many of my photo strip teases. Suddenly I knew we would get along. I hit her up on facebook to ask about checking references on some photogs she worked with who were inquiring to book me while travelling, she was responsive and friendly. 

Fast forward to her end-of-summer Seattle tour, I hosted her in my spare room and got to finally meet her in person! She is organized, professional, super creative with her@AnalogCatalog polaroid project, and super goofy and laid back in her everyday interactions with me. 

I will share the Nekkid Hippie pictorial set in my next post, super amazing photos that I absolutely LOVE!!! Until then, enjoy the behind the scenes video from our photo shoot on that early morning near the end of Seattle's Summer... we were super on-the-lookout for passerby's ... old ladies and dog walkers kept walking by and I had to keep throwing on my overcoat between shots!!!
