Abandoned & Burned - Photos by Travis (Patreon)

Possibly the most badass location we have ever happened upon in our travels... well... the Casa Grande abandoned domes were pretty awesome too... but THIS was also amazing! The town of... Tucumcari I believe... super small town with not much around spare a few gas stations and a handful of rundown/ mostly abandoned shops.

This was a rambler motel, you know like the kind you see in 80s movies featured along Route 66. We parked the van right out front just after sunrise, totally expecting to get kicked out by police (but apparently the police either didn't give a crap or they had bigger fish to fry?!) We were here like an hour and I was running around naked! 

The ground in here was all shards of broken glass and burned stuff... rusty nails... who knows what else. I used my black flip flops to position under me wherever I posed so I could be somewhat protected. Anyway, I edited these myself because I liked the stark contrast of the black ash on the white walls, and I had this aesthetic I was going for. Hope you think it's as badass as I think they are!!! <3 Enjoy!
