Back of Van @ Painted Desert (Patreon)

I've been at my hometown this whole month, grinding like a boss! Creating content, editing video, taking care of my van's preventative maintenence, tanning, making new hair extensions... saving up for my next huge road trip!!!

This photo set is a little reminder of the awesomeness of being on the road! Travis shot these photos of me when we were in the Painted Desert! We opened up the back doors and let 'er RIP! Haha actually a couple times some random tourists came up to stand next to the van and look at the scenery too and I had to hide LOL ... we were parked at an epic viewpoint!

***Traveling vs "chilling" ***

There's a mental/ habitual difference between living in a static dwelling (house, apartment etc) and living in a van. The biggest baseline difference is that the van is also my transportation vessel at the same time that it's my home. You know how when you get out of your home and walk into your vehicle, then your mind switches to "ok lets get to my next destination" - well i have been actively trying to uproot that mentality while parked and "chilling" ...often by verbally stating "this van is a home now". 

People ask me, "So when is the next time you're traveling?" And I am like.... well technically I am ALWAYS traveling now! I don't ever hook up to an RV park or anything like that, I am a serial boondocker! I guess even before, I never fully acclimated to the "2 weeks in my apartment, and 10-12 days flying for bookings" method of life either. I have a wanderlust... after about 10 days in any one location I feel like I want to change my surroundings. 

That's why I don't think I will ever buy a house lol. I am too obsessed with variety!

Thanks for reading my rant! I love my life, just wanted to provide some perspective on how it'd a different lifestyle than normal, since nowadays people always ask me "what's vanlife like?!"
