Desert Phoenix Video + Last month of Apartment life (Patreon)

In my last photo gallery I shared, you were able to enjoy the amazing still images from this shoot with Art of Women in the California Desert! Well now you have the opportunity to watch the process in video form. 

You can see how strong the wind was blowing! It was really hard to hold those poses on my toes, or standing on one foot, especially with that 5-yards of sheer fabric hanging onto my body and pulling me off my center of gravity!! 

At the end of this shoot a small twister blew through the valley and pelted us with tiny rocks that felt like a thousand needles on my naked body. I covered myself with the fabric and ran back to the truck, indiana jones style lol. Enjoy! <3

***Last month living in an apartment***

I am torn between "this is going to be an awesome, transformative adventure" and "wtf this is some kind of early midlife crisis/ I am going to get attacked by someone breaking into my van while I sleep!" hah haaaaahhhh I know that is an irrational fear, I will only park in places I know I will be safe and I have tons of options! I have been reading sub-reddits and listening to podcasts and following others who have been living in their vans for years, so the worst-case-scenario thoughts are just natural human tendencies I believe. 

They say your breakthrough is always on the outside of your comfort zone. Everything I desire is on the other side of my deepest fears. 

So I am going to tackle this! I am going to join a self defense class - not just to kick asses, but also to build my own self confidence within my own bodily strength, bodily strength will also give me stronger psychological strength which will impact my life immensely, as many of my social anxieties and anti-social tendencies stem from my "little girl syndrome" stuffs. 

And if you've read this far, please don't be one of those people who try to pressure me to carry a gun. I will have mace and bear spray. I am not gonna fucking shoot someone and deal with a crime scene investigation with blood everywhere, fuck that shit. Respect my decision please, and refrain from attempting to change my mind lol. 

So yes! currently I still have my apartment until the end of August, I will pick my van up on Aug 8 and have it in the parking lot here for a few weeks while I put some belongings in it and clear out my other belongings into storage/ donation centers etc. My first trip will be to Portland Aug 20-24!! :) 

Thanks a million for supporting me! This is also a very emotional time for me and I have been dealing with all kinds of breaking patterns of behaviour, self assessment, and becoming my own independent self again (once and for all?)
