Videography by Cam Attree, shot at the same time as the photo gallery in the most recent content post I shared on May 8 :) There was not a soul around! This place was so beautiful, I truly felt like a "feral girl" in a lonely deserted island. 

We brought my drone and Cam used it to incorporate some kick ass aerial footage too! It's so fun to be able to capture myself this way. This is an artsy little fantasy!

***Back in the USA!!!***

Here I am back to "reality" after a long red eye flight from Tahiti, I will be in San francisco for the next few days. The jetlag is not so bad, I had a shoot yesterday with the golden gate bridge in the background, it was awesome! 

Kinda funny, but I have found myself pondering why I (as well as many other models and photographers) get so much enjoyment out of photographing ourselves, photographing other people, and looking at photographs of people. It's so wierd when you overthink it. Like why does imagery impact us so much? Is it that inner mirror within ourselves that wants to reflect so badly what the person in the image is trying to emote? Like some kind of empathic mirroring connection through visual connection? Or is it all lust and vanity? It's hard for me to pinpoint because of how deep into this forest I really am, but creating imagery is just my essence... everything else is just a means to an end, or a way for me to find more ways to expand my creativity in imagery. 

Anyway, thanks for going down the rabbit hole with me, glad to have a decent web connection here where I am staying, needed to catch up on some file uploads and downloads!!! :)
