So something fun about this skirt: I wore this skirt for a shoot when I was just 19! OMG I found the old photos!!! Here is me with the team:
And here was my solo promo shot as a "Black Mist Party Crasher":
OMG this brings back old memories!!! Anyway I have held on to this wicked skirt for several years in the bottom of my outfit drawer. When Art of Nude invited me to model for him at underground Seattle (a historic site) I just felt like a punk-girl look would work... and the red hues on this wall totally did!!!
My next post will be the VIDEO from this shoot!! ;) looking forward to sharing it with you! :)

***Tomorrow is my sobriety b-day!!!***
WHOOO tomorrow I will have 7 years of sobriety under my belt, it feels awesome to be able to say that! I was a total alcoholic/addict until I was 24, accrued 2 duis and tons of bad life habits. I thought I had it all under control, but eventually my relationships were all failing and my bank account draining, my health waning and my happiness dying.
After being busted for my 2nd dui (first one was age 19, second age 24) I was ordered by the court to be completely sober for the 2 year deferral program. At first I wanted to cheat the system, I told myself initially I would only be sober for the first 60 days (because the first 60 days of the deferral program required me to check in to class 3 times a week, where they could give me a random urine test any given time, the second phase was only once a week classes I thought I might get away with sneaking) buuuut after 60 days of sobriety... I had a bit of perspective of my life gained....
At the time I had been living at a Party house affectionately named "The Yard" (click for incriminating photos lol) for about 5 years, so partying was my LIFE. Those 60 days of sobriety allowed me to clear the fog and realize I needed to finally bend over and take it from "the man" (aka... Johnny Law if you know what I mean)
Yep, I needed to wise up and stop trying to dodge the rules. I needed to take control of my bad habits and just conform to society a little more, which is a tough pill for someone named "Pure Rebel" to swallow.
Anyway, I did it! Cold turkey! I definitely drank every day for a while and was blacking out on a weekly basis. Waking up in strange places, losing my car, booking shoots while blacked out and forgetting about it, puking in my halloween costume, being obnoxiously wasted at family parties, not checking my mail.... all kinds of crap. I am fortunately a wiser person now :) I traded addictions from drinking to full time modeling, WHOO!
And so thank you for supporting my new "addiction"! I hope you enjoy the results of this metamorphosis! I love you all <3
Peace and Love,
*Kristy
