So in this selfie set, I turned on my flashlight on the front of the phone and used the front camera to snap- this kind of light highlights all my tiger stripes as well as every scar, hair, zit, etc etc. I want this to be raw, yet touching. There is some intense eye contact and sensual gestures.

It's been a good week so far, I have had time to decompress more from the last 2 months of craziness, and some more time to edit and prepare the fun posts I will be sharing with you over the next few weeks! 

Well, in addition to having my modeling Vimeo channel shut down a few days ago... FB put me in "jail" for 30 days (for those of you who do not know, "Facebook Jail" is when facebook deems something you shared as innapropriate and decides to put you in time out... you cannot post, comment, reply to comments or messages...) 

How the heck did I do that??? I was sharing a direct link to my film from Vimeo to Facebook, to promote my new movie Bring Something Sexy  ... then i got the 30 day ban notice :( I was pretty surprised and a bit angry...

BUT I have noticed something... I do have a "friends and family" backup Facebook account I logged into and I only have about 50 friends there, on my main account I have about 4,000 friends and about 6,000 people are "following" me there.... I noticed on my smaller account... I actually see posts from people I know in real life... and on my main bigger account... I was only seeing "the top posts" from the most dramatic news links, facebook fights with threads of people I barely know or never met fighting over something, politics, rape culture or feminism posts were flooding my feed like crazy!

It reminded me of when I used to work in a restaurant where they played CNN on the big screen above the bar most of the time... constantly delivering bad news. That's an unhealthy amount of doom and gloom to expect a person to intake on a regular basis. When I left that job, I was no longer exposed to TV (I intentionally do not own one) ...and I noticed my quality of life improved! The constant drag of "woman raped to death in the streets" and "baby fed drugs dies" and "the cat serial killer has struck again" ... You see news channels here are mostly sharing the most click-baity effed up stories because they know we will rubber neck at them like a train wreck along the highway... how can you NOT know what happened, or what's going to happen next?

I do want to be educated on important topics that are happening right now, but I don't want to fall into their addictive viewership traps. So I find my news elsewhere. 

ANYWAY that was a long-winded way for me to describe that's how I feel about my larger facebook account... the one that is in the 30 day ban now. 

When I get back on there, I will delete probably 75% of my "friends" so I don't have to worry about wading through so much fear mongering and frivolous arguments. Time to take my life back!
