***A Friend in Need...***

I will not reveal the identity or any further details of the situation, but recently I was gifted the opportunity to help a photographer I was working with, with their emotional stability and motivation to thrive. 

He said he missed an important opportunity due to lack of preparedness, partly a result of his drinking habit. We have shot before and he knows of my sobriety story. 

My heart broke a little when he said "I just wish I could have one or two drinks like a normal person! But I can't stop at one..." If any of you are reading this are also in recovery, this statement of desperation is all too familiar. It's a really hard place to be stuck in. 

Moment of silence for those who are suffering in this life-sucking pattern, I was there too, blacking out all the time and losing my life... replacing my zest with numbness.... 

Anyway we had an amazingly creative shoot and the photos on the back of the camera looked SUPERB! 

It seems surreal to me how many people are willing to open up to traveling nude models about their deepest struggles, pains, and secrets.

Well everyone, Today is my last day of this tour! It's been a productive trip, despite 4 cancellations and two hosting cancellations :| The weather out here (snow!) affected roads, flights, and people's lives a bit. Regardless, I am happy that I had a decent amount of time to myself spending nights at a hotel!  Hopefully I can get a good amount of editing done on the plane :)
