Hi Patrons!

Welcome to the final update of this year! Hoping you all have finished your Christmas shopping and relaxing and totally-not-worrying about holiday travel/snowstorms/distant relatives.

I am here to humbly report that Story 8 is chugging along smoothly.

Progress Update

Story #8 is headed into the main battle portion of the episode. We are nearly done (92%) with Chapter 3, and already have concepts in the works for Chapter 4. The animation quality is already ramping up, and I'm nervous (& excited) about how we'll be tackling the action-packed scenes. As it is the holidays, many of the prod team members will be busier off work than usual.

We'll soon be at over 8 minutes of footage - quite a meaty chunk of indie animation!

Zoom Soul

One particular scene I've been working on is a flashback sequence for Gildedguy's character. It's a scene I've been putting off for inspiration to strike (aka, procrastinating). It stands as a real reflective moment for me as an artist, which is a real joy, because it is a rare opportunity in the story to bare my heart.

It's a oft-repeated conundrum that the more personal and specific you describe a feeling, the more universally relatable it can become. I really want to convey a certain something to you guys through this animation as a whole, and scenes like this one are key.

2023 Stickers

The other week, a big heavy box of sticker sheets was shipped to my door. Alas, it was the new batch of stickers! The colors came out perfectly, and me and my brothers have been happily slicing them for art consumption.

You can buy them here!

Thank you to the Gildedguy Discord community for submitting such excellent designs.

I plan on slipping these into giveaway packages, orders, and thank you cards whenever I get the chance.

Thank you for your support this year!

Thank you all for choosing to support my animations in 2022. It is my pleasure and privilege to create these productions for the public to enjoy and share. Your contributions are goin toward that goal and also paying the members of our art team.

My part for the Dojo Christmas "Obstacle Course" Collab

We have many hurdles to clear in 2023, and I intend to keep my patrons updated every step of the way!

Happy Holidays!
