Animating Act III & Keychain Designs! (Patreon)

Hi Patrons,

Here is another update on the animation progress and other Gildedguy things. We've nearly completed all the animation up to the climax, putting us at ~69% done overall. I foresee some potentially budget-shattering scenes coming soon, but I don't think it'll derail the production's momentum. 

With that being said, we are now animating the Climactic scenes of the project, an incredibly exciting phase since it'll allow us to go nuts on the quality and creativity. Again, I can't say much without giving it away, but do know that's what I'll be tackling for the next several weeks.

I'm feeling more and more confident about releasing a trailer announcing the premiere date. There are a BUNCH of things to prepare in advance, including the merch offer, patreon cameos, and rebooting last year's GildedGala project.

The Keychains Return!

Throughout this production I was working with Kero very closely to deliver special trading cards for this year's bonus merch for patrons. Unfortunately the amount of design work necessary combined with the printing time would make it too late for Story 7's release. So the trading cards will have to wait for now.

Instead, we'll be returning to offering new keychains themed around Gildedguy, Andre, and Arzon! They will be double-sided again, and might even include some cool holographic/sparkly effects. We're still in the design stages at the moment, but we should be able to make and produce them fast enough to get them into your hands.

Still having Fun with 3D Prints

My free time continues to be filled with 3D printing, especially in making these reconfigurable Gildedguy models - you can take off and swap the visor, head, cape, or body of any color with another model!

I grew up loving LEGO, so it's especially fun for me to be creating something similar for my little character. Even if it takes dozens of prototypes! I hope to offer a finished Gildedguy figurine for sale, and perhaps even as a perk for you Patrons.

Our friend and fellow fan, Rainbow3D has also been super helpful in the process - he's created a functional Stellapen!
