First Update of 2022 (Patreon)

I hope everyone is having a good start to the year. This will be a quick update post on the progress of Story 7 and some plans for the next month.

Post-Holiday Progress Update

Gildedguy & the Rock Hard Gladiator is 53% done overall. There's still a good deal of work to be done, but I anticipate some big progress as we enter the 2nd Verse/Chorus of the animation.

I find this part of the project to be more "grindy" than the 1st or 3rd acts, since it's like working on the middle part of a movie. Story-wise, things "just" escalate, which although is interesting in some aspects, it is not as exciting as the climax. Still, it is crucial to the overall story since it 'll provide setups and foreshadowing.

MAGFEST

This past weekend (plus Thu/Fri) I attended a local convention called MAGFEST (Music And Games Festival). I got to see and do a variety of nerdy things, including art booths and live covers of video game music. I spotted this gilded-looking-guy at a random vendor's booth and had to snag him for a few bucks.

I saw lots of other creative people selling their wares and sharing their work - maybe someday I'll have my own booth.

The little break doubled as a mini-production team (Rebonkulous & Bokskat) meet up again, something I also want to do more of in the future!
