Hi Patrons,

This is another update on the progress of Story #0. A week or two ago, we 100% finished the animation 2:30 minute intro. We've also completed several scenes of the main animation, putting us at 33% completion with the project overall.

I'm in the middle of tackling the first chorus "musical drop" scene, which are always a joy to work on. It'll be a sequence filled with fighting, dancing, and lots of special FX. I plan on setting up the team with a lot of other scenes to work on while I dive deep into the chorus.

The past week has been heavily focused on one of our most detail heavy scenes yet: "Scene 38b - Payday Food". In this little sequence, Gildedguy and his peers enjoy the spoils of their hard work in the form of plentiful dining and spending. So far, one of our artists (Soapy) has rendered heaps of foods, with more piles of "stuff" to be drawn later.

I cannot stress enough how much extra work is being put into the backgrounds this time around - it's starting to get out of hand! Not that I'm complaining, but it's scary how I can look away for a day and come back to awesome illustrations like this.

Gaming Sponsorship

Last Sunday we did our first Sponsored Gaming Stream for the infamous game, RAID: Shadow Legends. I usually decline these kinds of opportunities, but I felt that the return on time spent is very much worth it.

All proceeds earned from the sponsorship milestones are going directly to the members of the production team, so I see it has a fun bonus. I also learned quite a bit about the sponsorship process, and the amount of work it takes to actually promote something non-art related. Similar to the Huion tablet monitor review, I feel like we've gotten great "bang-for-our-buck" value from the RAID promotion.

One thing I did not foresee was the addictive nature of RAID - be careful with those skinner boxes everyone.

And that's all I have to report for now. If you'd like a closer look at what we're doing, I invite you to check out the live streams.

Happy End of Summer/Early Autumn, and thank you.
