GG vs Oxob Update & Inktober 2019 Week #1 (Patreon)

Hey guys, here's a quick update on what I've been working on lately:

• Continuing work on Story #6
• Improvements to stream overlay
• Launching GildedguyArt Instagram (Inktober 2019)

Story #6

We are 3 minutes and 11 seconds into the animation, putting us at 26.5% complete overall. I'm currently at the part of the main song where we hear the first "drop", which means I gotta put special attention on the animation quality. 

As mentioned in the teaser trailer, the estimated release has been pushed into early 2020. I'm applying as many animation tricks as I can to keep the quality high, fresh, but also efficient.

Stream

The live-stream has received the seasonal treatment for Halloween! Though visual upgrades are nice, the overlay has also received a new functional upgrade: Song tempo mapping!

Help Gildedguy catalog the BPM of every song request! By having a song's BPM (tempo), GildedBot can properly animate the on-screen avatar to dance in sync with the music.

Once a song is cataloged, Gildedbot will remember the BPM forever. The goal is to have the stream bouncing to the beat of 99% of time, no matter the song!

Viewers can now earn gil from tempo mapping as well, meaning more opportunities to engage and be rewarded for watching the live-stream.

Instagram & Inktober

After a lot of demand, I've finally started posting to Instagram. I'm not very familiar with the platform, but I see its appeal to photographers and artists alike. 

To kick things off, I've decide to participate in Inktober 2019 and post daily ink pieces throughout all of October. Every day has had an official prompt. So the first day was "RING", while the second was "MINDLESS", and so on.

I'll be posting all my finished inks to Patreon as well.
