In this AU, Crush is a pirate kid adopted by his pirate parents (ofc) and they lost him in a storm (where Cherie saved him the first time), and he got a head injury that made him have amnesia..! Cherie was looting from the wreckage where he stayed and watched Crush (He was curious).. And that's how they started being friends, eventually, Cherie will help Crush regain his memories and they liv happily ever after~
