I planned on shooting October's yesterday too, but the day got away from me (I kept having to take 15-minute breaks from shooting Arya so I could feel my toes again!! This is making me consider picking up some thin thermal leggings to go underneath this whole get-up for the big snowy castle photoshoot I'm planning for January or February!!)

I tried out some new makeup tricks this time and I'm really happy with them!

All my changes were basically targeted at making me look less like Yara and more like Arya, since I'm so sick of the comments. Here are some of the changes:

  • Subtle eye makeup to emphasize bigger eyes (some discreet brown shadow, brown pencil under the lower lashes, white waterline, black upper waterline, and some mascara)
  • I plucked down the outer arches of my eyebrows so I could achieve that height & length that Arya's brows have
  • I drew in the inner ends of the brows closer together than my natural brows
  • I used concealer and highlighter to lessen the appearance of the unpleasantly-named nasolabial folds
  • I wore my wig slightly lower on my forehead to try and make my face appear rounder, rather than longer (I actually lowered it a lot more after taking these photos)

Who knows if this will help at all, but at this point I'll do pretty much anything to combat the "you'd make a better Yara" comments! Fingers crossed 🤞

Illustrious as always!! And freezing your toes, just shows how dedicated you are to getting the perfect shot. Also, your Arya is never anything less than perfect. All the evidence needed is there in the shoots. Whenever you play her, you show her the greatest of love and respect. It always comes through how magnificently you bring her to life. If someone misses that, then they are highly mistaken. And nobody should put any stock in the mistaken words of an idiot.
