Method: ORK SKIN (Patreon)

Hello my friends! Enyoing the summer? Or winter?(if you are in south) or monzonic rains? If you are in tropic :)))

Im trying to develop a easy technique for painting ork skin. I could have done by airbrush, but at the moment i want to understand the how behave the method in the brush. (And I only have 2 new models hehehe)

I will do an skin airbrush method further ahead when new orks been release.

The method is based in my style of painting human skin. Creating a dark shadow tone, set white spots of light and then painting the skin.

I leave you my color choice, BUT you can use whatever combination.

DONT obsess with the transition we will blend it easy.

Here the steps:

1. Paint the whole skin with your dark skin tone. I select violet-amethist because i think is near the complementary of the green. And I feel it will give me a little bit more organic sensation when I finish the nose, ears and elbow redish details.

2. I paint white spots in the place i want to set the main light. In this case top righr.

3. I choose my main skin tone and i paint the white spot and beyond.

4. I select a darker tone of green (i use a bluegreen) and i make a trasition between the green and the violet.

5. I use a lighter green to increase the light zone.

5,5. TRICK: i airbrush a SOFT coat of green ink. To blend previous work.

6. I make micro white spots in max light zones and i cover it with fluor green.

Finally I paint those details of skin nose, ears, mouth...

Estoy tratando de desarrollar una técnica sencilla para pintar piel orka. Podría haberlo hecho con aerógrafo, pero de momento quiero entender cómo se comporta el método en pincel. (Y solo tengo 2 modelos nuevos jejeje)

Haré un método en aerógrafo de piel más adelante cuando se lancen nuevos orcos.

El método se basa en mi estilo de pintar la piel humana. Creando un tono de sombra oscuro, establecer puntos blancos de luz y luego pintar la piel.

Os dejo mi elección de color, PERO puedes usar cualquier combinación

NO obsesionarse con la transición. La fusionaremos facilmente luego.

Aquí los pasos:

1. Pinta toda la piel con tu tono de piel oscuro. Elijo violeta-amatista porque creo que está cerca del complementario del verde. Y siento que me dará un poco más de sensación orgánica cuando termine los detalles rojizos de nariz, orejas y codos..

2. Pinto manchas blancas en el lugar donde quiero colocar la luz principal. En este caso arriba a la derecha.

3. Elijo mi tono de piel principal y pinto la mancha blanca y más allá.

4. Selecciono un tono de verde más oscuro (uso un verde azulado) y hago una transición entre el verde y el violeta.

5. Utilizo un verde más claro para aumentar la zona de luz.

5,5. TRUCO: aerógrafo con una capa SUAVE de tinta verde. Para fusionar trabajos anteriores.

6. Hago micro puntos blancos en las zonas de máxima luz y lo cubro con verde flúor.

Finalmente pinto esos detalles de nariz, orejas, boca de color sonrosada
