DREADNOUGHT: Hot cannon (Patreon)

About the cannon, this is not a proper OSL because i want to emulate a hot barrel. But the technique is really similar. 

You must think what is the most hot part and that will be lighter part.

This is the hot sequence (theoretically):

light yellow> yellow> orange > red orange> red > brown > darkbrown >dark metal >metal.

So once you decided what is the hottest part you must do the sequence and allways with saturated colors, so white is out of this equation (only for the base)

there is a moment that heat is not able to emit orange light and in some point the metal will reflect the light again. this use to happen in the corners

Sobre el cañon, no es un OSL propiamente dicho, porque lo que se va a emular es un cañon caliente. Pero la técnica es similar.

La secuencia teórica de colores sería esta:

amarillo claro> amarillo> naranja> rojonaranja> rojo> marron> marronoscuro> metal oscuro> metal

Una vez se decide la parte más caliente hay que empezar la secuencia siempre con colores saturados (así que el blanco está descartado en esta mezcla, solo se usa como base)

Hay un momento en el que el calor no es suficiente para emitar luz, entonces el metal empieza a brillar de nuevo, esto suele suceder en las esquinas
