My Hot & Horny Cousin 2 (Cancelled) (Patreon)

I'm sorry to relay to you that the sequel to "My Hot & Horny Cousin" is cancelled because of dispute with the VA. The story was suppose to focus on Xalas's other cousin "Shayla Smith" who I have already introduced in one of my "Model Profile" posts. I had hired the voice actresses to record the Dirty Talk and Sex noises for Shayla which she did. But then as I begin developing more scenes for the movie, I needed to hire her again for additional lines which was the Intro, the essential part of the movie since it sets everything up.

Well I handed her the script and after few hours she declined to record it and I was confused. I asked her what's wrong and she says "Well the dialogue has Shayla saying Xalas by name and I don't feel comfortable doing sex scenes that is referencing my Clients name." So I said well okay, I didn't know that but it can be corrected, I will just have Shayla not refer to him by name and just call him cousin.

Then she replies "Well that's kind of you, but since I know the scene involves you and your likeness I can't do it." Now I'm confused because she voiced a character in the past that involved me and in fact it was one of the first projects she has ever done with me. The only difference was the character never says Xalas's name but Xalas himself and my likeness is in the scene. So I'm not the one to pressure anyone to do something they don't want to do so I left it alone. She then said "Well it's on my don't do list on my Info Card" I said where is your info card because I don't see it on your twitter profile.

This is what irritates me most about this whole situation because it could have been avoided. For Starters she didn't have the info card on her profile bio. She had it on her demo reel in a pinned tweet buried under 4 other tweets. Like what the hell man, I didn't know that. I'm normally never bothered by stuff like this but it had me irritated because I paid her $230 for the first half of the dialogue, which by the way she hiked up her prices since the last time we worked together. A lot of money for not that long of a script.

So now I spent $230 for Voice Work that is missing the intro and additional lines for me to complete it. That's $230 of my Patreon funds down the drain because the audio is useless now since its missing the intro. I can salvage the voice for loops but that was never the purpose for the audio. Then she tells me "Well sorry, I hope you can find someone else. Let's work together again sometime." Yea, I'm never going to hire her again. There is always something when working with her. She always try to tell me how I should animate particular scenes when I hire her to do a character. I sit there and say to myself "Like STFU and let me animate, I didn't ask for your advice, I hired you to do voices. If I need advice i'll ask an animator".

This wouldn't be an issue, but the fact is I need a black woman to voice the character. She was a very talented black voice actress to the point you could not tell she was black because her range was ridiculous. But the voice work she did with Shayla, it had the blackness I needed for the character. The big problem is there aren't many Black Voice Actresses in the Hentai scene that does this kind of work. If I can find a black voice actress that sound anywhere near 18-22 years of age then ill just hire them and then the project is back on. The MOVIE WAS PRACTICALLY DONE. This movie was going to be fucking awesome and that's what is killing besides the fact that I wasted my fucking money.

My problem with the VA community is the fact that some of them make things way more difficult than it needs to be. Then you have some that takes themselves way to seriously which makes working with them a pain in the ass and I never hire them again. Not only that some see themselves as celebrities because of the amount of simping they receive from the community, so their ego's are inflated which also makes some of them hard to work with. The worst part of it all is some VA's I hire would take my money and disappear for weeks and sometime for a couple months. They go ghost, they don't answer the DM's on twitter, or their email. These kind of VA's don't even have the fucking decency to let me know that they are going through some personal issues and there will be a delay.

I am a reasonable guy, I always give VA's leadway when it comes to deadlines because I factor in personal issues that may come up. But it appears that some are beginning to take advantage of me and my kindness when it comes to that. I recently paid 5 VA's and haven't heard shit from them in a month. I don't make a big deal because I always have backup projects in case things like this happens, but this is over $800 of my Patreon funds that is out in wild and I have yet to receive my fucking audio.

Then it seems like every VA around me had hiked up their prices. A lot VA's love working with me because I pay them what they are worth. I never talked their prices down and they love me for it but these price hikes is definitely making it harder and having me rethink and now I must negotiate prices from now on. So once again I'm sorry guys the movie is cancelled but I have something else amazing that will replace it for Novembers release.

I normally don't vent to my patrons but I want to be transparent of what's going on and how the process of creating content goes behind the scenes. Over $1K of patreon funds just wasted right now, so I have to pause on the hiring until I get at least 2 out of 5 audio's that I paid for and have yet to receive.
