🔧 CHANGELOG

  • 26/02 Added EXTRA DARK SATURATED version (for those to whom the other versions seemed still too bright) to BETTER IN-GAME LIGHTING MOD v1.1 and some improvements have been made to all the files, so I advise you to redownload all of it.
  • And I also took additional screenshots of what the lighting looks like at night and indoors without additional light sources. For this preview I used BRIGHT BASE ver.
  • 27/02 Increased the rugs brightness in all versions BETTER IN-GAME LIGHTING MOD!

i love the mod, however since using it all of the rugs in my game are c0mpletely unlit, even if there are lights on in the room and the rest of the furniture looks as it should. any ideas about that?

Hi! I checked additionally and in my game the lighting works on rugs. Maybe you have another mod installed that breaks this. Or do you mean that it works, but it seems dim? I could fix something like that and make the lighting on the rugs brighter.

I have this issue too! I took out all the other lighting mods to use this one and all my rugs went dark like there's no light above them. I just went in game without any lighting mods then they came back normal. Is there any way you can fix them?

@Celine Kim Hello! Are you sure the lights on the rugs aren't working at all? Because my mod makes the room (and everything in it) without light brighter by itself (because I really don’t like this darkness, haha). So turning on the light itself does not affect objects so much (so as not to light up too much it), so it may not seem to work, although it actually works. If you are sure that the light does not work at all, could you send a screenshot of the rugs with the light on and off? So I can see an example of the problem. And then I can try to help you.

I will take a screenshot!! The rugs appear properly lit outside, but not indoors. Give me a few minutes!

hey can we use gental cas lighting with this mod i tryed and my cas wont load when i click new game.

Hi, I'm having a slight problem - with the mod installed its disabling the in game background blur that comes with the post processing effect in the Sims 4 graphics options. I have tried loading the game with a clean mods folder with just this lighting mod installed and no other mods and it still happens so I have no mod conflicts, any ideas what else I can try? It's not a game changer obviously as I really do love this mod but just wanted to check if it's a known issue! Thank you so much :) &lt;3
