May 2020 Content Dump (Patreon)

Oh man...there's...a lot to talk about this month lol So I needed a running start. I'm gonna preface this by saying, the recent events of the killing of George Floyd has had a huge impact on me and my current state of mind/work flow. Not just the situation as it is, and series of events that followed, but how people have been perceiving everything online. I know a lot of folks would rather me not go into this, and are of the mind of "I'm tired of seeing this" but that's too bad, this is serious shit. As a black artist that has faced racism from police in the past, I'm happy to see that this has gotten as much support as it has. I think we all need to be understanding. Let folks grieve. Have a little empathy for your creators, instead of condemning them for voicing their opinions/sharing content on this current matter. I know, you wanna escape reality, but that's not always how it works.

This months updates have been impacted by not just this, but the addition/changes of several websites which I'll list out as well. So let me start with-

New Twitter Sucks!- It finally rolled around for me(around the 1st) and I hate it! But it's whatever, I'm kinda fed up with stuff on social media atm, so I'm on a hiatus as far as Twitter goes.

Lightsource on Instagram!- Cons forced me to make an IG cuz idk, apparently I need one if I'm cool. I'm only gonna be using it for commercial use, so only sfw images! You can find me at 0lightsource_

Lightsource on Pillowfort!-God I still think the name is stupid as shit lol So out of all the Tumblr clones, this one managed to triumph. It's still super clunky, but it gets the job done! The user base has been growing a ton since recent events which is pretty shitty in it's own regard, but I'm not gonna get into that lol Hopefully with more funding and overall support, it'll be a solid website on par with the og Tumblr. May Poll Slow Progress- I was pumped to get a ton of the poll options done late last month, but that didn't get to happen. I still wanna do a bunch of them, just...when I'm back to being extra horny again lol Expect the Poll Winner by the end of this month if nothing else.

I'm Not a MILF, I'm Your Girlfriend You ASS!- The comic for May was a success! Claudette is tied with Sekhmet for sales, so that's good news. The comic will be bundled with this months content dump for the according tiers.

Workout Buddies 2- More Claudette??? What started as a free set to post on Twitter to shill the Patreon ended up being a new project altogether. Workout Buddies 2 is complete, but still need some tweaking/reviewing. It will go live this Friday. 

Fitting Room HD TBA- To replace Workout Buddies 2, Fitting Room, my first Murasaki/Aoi comic will be getting a do over with a bonus followup story.  This will be a free project for June-July. 

200 Patrons!- Probs gonna go down again after this post, BUT it's nice that I've been fluctuating between high 190s and low 200s of late. This has been a huge milestone for me, and I really appreciate all the people who helped me get here! I know supporting 0LS isn't the most intuitive experience, but man I'm tryin lol 

Lightstore 80% Complete- I've been taking my sweet time creating bits and pieces of merch to make the full Lightstore. Hitting some roadblocks along the way, but I aim to make everything public by July. Fingers crossed!!

I think that wraps things up. In closing words, it's a wild ass world out there right now. Between Covid and protests/rioters. I wish you all the best, and hope for your continued safety. Be the best you can be to your neighbors, no matter what race, color or creed.
