Honestly it was always my little headcanon that Taesung's mom actually liked Haebom's mom. It just kind of fitted very well with her arc of marrying Taesung's dad for convenience and being so scared of people's prejudice. Also her taking Haebum in after his parents death and randomly talking to his mom like she was actually next to her. Of course it could be just because they were best friends, but im a sucker for wlw angst lol

You were lowkey me spotting the female side chs and being like lesbians???? are we getting lesbians???? and then it doesn't happen and you're like, fine okay. I hold out hope that we'll start getting more Korean GLs soon too. I'm quite a sucker for cute BLs (and romances in general) but it's probably the ace in me so I really enjoyed this- I have to admit, one more explicit and action based series that I started watching more as a joke but ended up loving was the Thai series Pit Babe- it just finished today. It was strangely refreshing and I recommend trying it though the initial concept might seem kind of odd. The story and performances have to be really good for me to cope with more explicit stuff and this one I liked a lot. Very interesting plot. I had fun rewatching this series with you :)

OH I love this theory so much. Now that you're pointing it out it makes a lot of sense. Especially how she would emphasize that the world wouldn't accept them, as if that's a personal fear she herself had before.
