Creating Designer themes on a Mac (Patreon)

I uploaded Designer for the iOS Simulator in ⁠#designer-beta on Discord.

This is a Patron only channel. If you are a Patron connect to Discord and you will have access.

There is a readme included and I recommend reading. I will explain here but I won't be repeating these steps.

Using Xcode v12.0.1 (other versions may work but if it don't then this one for sure does)
open the Simulator.app, launch iPhone 11 on iOS14, drag the TestApp.app into the simulator. This will install it.

On your Mac you must setup Designer folders.
(you will probably need to show hidden folders - google it if you don't know how) 

Directories to setup on the Mac

/var/mobile/Library/Designer/themes 

/var/mobile/Library/DesignerAssets 

You must move the time.json from your iOS device to /themes 

You must move the assets from your iOS device to /DesignerAssets 

Some gotchas. 

To get keyboard to show in the simulator you must toggle software keyboard (i/o > Keyboard) at least once when a text input is selected. 

The save theme button will be in the Editor settings (the gear icon) 

Load themes by pressing the little avatar icon. 

Pinch/Zoom by holding alt/option key  

Not every single option in this TestApp will work. For example you should not use Download Themes or Open Designer Settings in the Editor settings. I will not be adding "extra" things to this app. 

This app will need updated every time I add something to the tweak it will be in #designer-assets.  

Remember this is purely for me to test/build code for the tweak. I'm being kind and letting patrons use it. You can use it to make themes.
