You did make my brain derail when you said the omega part

because i imagined the 'sickness' to have been something that turned the people 

Specifically alpha and beta

And Prom is the singular omega

So thats a whole OTHER IDEA

imagine if its like this really insidious thing where the alphas cant be near other alphas without fighting

so like Noct and Gladio would both be the Alpha type

Ignis would be a beta and some are able to control it

but boy do they get up in eachothers faces sometimes

So Prom would be the saving grace

because he could regulate the alphas

they would be able to create some kind of spray or medicine by replicating his pheromones

mass produce it

But he just does it for the court by being there

ITS SO FUN

but it would also explain why they were drawn ot this place
