GoFundMe backers thank you pic (Patreon)

Over the weekend I posted a journal on deviantArt asking for help getting a replacement drawing tablet (honestly didn’t know what else to do!) with a link to crowdsourcing site GoFundMe. Amazingly, when I woke up on Saturday morning, less than 8 hours later, the goal had been reached! 

I didn’t post about it here on Patreon because it just didn’t feel right to turn to the Rangers, especially after how amazingly patient you’ve all been during my month of pain-induced reduced productivity.

Loaded up on painkillers, I fired up the stream yesterday and started to get used to the new kit. Seeing KatieD’s avatar (a crop of one of her Evie commissions) got the ideas sparking and a few hours later I added in the most generous supporter’s characters to this picture! 

While I didn’t ask or want to ask the Rangers, it was the gang who donated the most. From left to right we’ve got Wyland’s fun loving mischief magnet Prim (in her classic “Bunny Girl outfit”), We’re All Mad Here’s Elspeth Witchbow in all her curvy glory, Alynnya in the middle, blindfolded and being offered to an unseen party, KatieD’s badass with the great ass Evie, and Crosis & Amberbob’s Amber.

I’ve offered the backers who donated smaller amounts some comic back issues or AHMT PDFs and everybody my deepest gratitude for coming to my aid.

I’m going to colour this as soon as I can, hopefully this week. Before that I’m going to finish colouring the delayed AFLF 11, draw AHMT 150 for posting today, and it’s time for Alynnya to get put in handcuffs in this week’s Adventures of Alynnya Slatefire page (plus all the usual fun and games we have round these parts ;))
