Best pair of episodes in S1 and so far in this series. Wow! If this is what we're getting now, I can't imagine the later seasons. Enjoy.

Major Lore Drop! Okay, so in the world of JttW, all living things (mortal and immortal) are divided into 10 categories. However, there are four creatures known as the Celestial Primates who don't who don't fit into any of the categories and are basically stronger than everyone except Buddha. The first is the Wise Stone Monkey aka Sun Wukong, whose main power is hyper accelerated learning. Which basically means he can learn how to do anything so long as he's physically capable of doing it; like learning how to speak human language and master all of the Immortal Sage Subodhi's techiques in only 12 years. The only reason he can't learn to swim is because he was born from a stone and retains the buoyancy of one. The second is the Red-Bottomed Baboon, who can control the forces of Yin and Yang and use them to continuously extend his lifespan; giving him a form of immortality that even Wukong doesn't know about. The third is the Long-Armed Gibbon, who can rearrange the stars and planets whenever he wants. And lastly we have the Six Eared Macaque, who is nearly omniscient, meaning he knows everything except the future. I won't spoil his role in the book, because I think they will go into that in season 5, but short version, their fight almost destroyed Earth, Heaven and the Underworld. Also, when the spirit possessing DBK mentioned the Great Sage, she was talking about Monkey King, because one of his titles is the Great Sage Equal to Heaven. Side note, DBK has a similar title as the Great Sage Pacifying Heaven.

That's some crazy lore. It confused me because DBK was acting like he was seeing the Monkey King but then mentioned the Great Sage teaching him, so I wasn't sure if DBK was seeing MK or Sun Wukong in that moment. TY for the clarification. I hope we get to see these other Celestial Primates in this series.

I hope so too. Unfortunately Wukong and Macaque were the only ones to physically appear in the book. The other two were only mentioned in passing. It depends on what Lego and the showrunners wont to do.
