Its definitely been my dark horse of this season. I don’t see many people talking about it but it’s been consistently good and getting better as the plot progresses

Couldn't agree more, man. Each and every episode improves upon the last. BTW, I messed around with my lights a bit. Does the video quality look any different? I'm still seeing visual noise and idk why. I have a ton of lights on me.

This episode was a huge disappointment after last weeks episode where things looked like it would start going into the plot.

I mean, I enjoyed the focus on Pete. It's always good to give the characters some time to develop.

Hopefully they won't skipgang on Chela & Oliver's rant about genitalia/secondary reproductive organs as far as mages are concerned later down the line once Pete finally decides to reveal this shit to ppl other than Oliver. The series in general is a pleasant surprise given it doesn't just ignore sex-related stuff overall, like many other shonen series that seem to ignore all things related to sex (not counting gags based on shit like that). Also although anime skipped on demi-human rights, SOME demi-humans DO have rights. Namely rn it's specifically 3 races only, Elves, Dwarves & Centaurs (they used to have no rights like 20-30 years ago). In fact this court decision a while back is what did give new wind under the Demi-Human Rights activist ppl, since the 3 prior cases were successes at least (weirdly enough even a non-Humanoid race like Centaurs was included in addition to the obvious pioneers like Elves & Dwarves, but not some other more clearly Humanoid looking ones that are bipedal, unlike Centaurs). There's technically Succubi too who DON'T have civil rights legally speaking, but that can be probably ignored on the fact that pure breed Succubi are essentially extinct by the time anybody other than Humans got any rights to begin with, leaving behind mostly hybrids, generally Succubus-Human hybrids of varying percentages, who by definition do have civil rights under the classification of Human
