The fight animation was really good on this ep! but "unfortunatly" I think they did some cuts ir and there with still shots to save budget. Still amazing for me, fuck the haters XD

I’m a bit dissapointed tbh. This was much better in the manga. Raph straight up stabs him twice with no hesitation and shoved him through the window herself with zero fucks given. Still a good ep though

They cut a lot of things or changed them compared to the Light Novel, but that is with every Adaption. Shield Hero is still very good.

Idol Rabiers Personality ( with details from the Light Novel) He is an amply proud fanatic of the Church of the Three Heroes and has a twisted logic in his belief. He hates and looks down on demi-humans, taking sadistic pleasure in their suffering, even children. His torture knows no bounds, as he is willing to torture any allies or believers of the Shield Hero, including his own kind. He was an abusive master of the slaves and had no qualms on readily killing his own soldiers for advantage. He was also a great coward, as shown when he begged for mercy (mostly from Raphtalia) when he had never granted any mercy to anyone. He doesn't care for anything or anyone but himself. In his maniacal thirst for killing the Shield Hero, he comes to the point of releasing in the middle of the town an ancient monster sealed ages prior in an obelisk, which led to his own death and the carnage of the town people. He is a fanatic through and through. Belonging to one of the fanatic factions of the Cult of Three Heroes, he believes that torturing and killing demi-humans is a "service" to his God, and also killing the "Devil of the Shield" will assure him a place in Heavens. After the first Wave, he purchased the survivors of Lurorona village (Raphtalias Village) and tortured the demi-human children in an underground dungeon beneath his mansion. He took a diabolical pleasure in their suffering, which led to the mental breakdown and even death of many, which is legally against the law of the land (torturing the slave is forbidden).

Btw in the Light Novel, the Soldiers killed almost all the Male Adults in Raphtalias Village and enslaved the Female Adults, who where mostly used as Sex Slaves.
