It's crazy that so many kids watched this! It's honestly one of the creepiest movies I have ever seen! Something is just so off about the animation style and the way the characters move. Gives me the creeps. Enjoy :)

Thanks for reacting to this movie!! I've heard about Coraline from friends but never got around to watch it. A bit reminiscent of The Nightmare Before Christmas, and James & The Giant Peach in it's presentation. Makes me think of ParaNorman as well which is a great Halloween film if you haven't already seen that.

And it’s PG! Like, what were they thinking! It was marketed towards kids, which is pretty misleading as it’s terrifying. My Dad had me watching all sorts of scary movies as a kid (I saw things like Predator and Tremors before I was 10) but at least he knew what the ratings were and could choose to show me something if he thought I could handle it. I’d say a lot of unsuspecting parents were blindsided with this one!
