Just when I thought the stakes couldn't get any higher for Rocky, along comes Drago. Found myself heading to the gym once again after seeing Rocky work so hard. Enjoy :)

If it’s not an Adrian/Rocky type love, I’m NOT here for it! This might be the most intense fight they’ve done. I love the moment of the trainer reminding Rocky that Drago IS human and can be hurt too. I feel like that helped his headspace a bit once he got the hit on him.

I remember when this movie came out when I was a teenager and I’ve seen it countless times, but this time I noticed how much shorter it is from the first couple in the franchise and maybe that’s because I’ve been watching with you over a short period of time, but IMO the other movies spent more time with the characters. This movie started with the fight between Apollo and Drago and right after the funeral, they had the press conference for Rocky and Draco’s fight with out showing Rocky and Adrian discussing it and she finds out about the fight from the paparazzi. We just see a montage of scenes from past movies. People seem to either love this one or hate it. It’s not my favorite, but I agree with you that I like Rocky’s workout montage. I like the beard and the lower ab work. Stallone was actually married to the actress who played Drago’s wife with the short blonde hair when this movie came out and were married for a couple years. Stallone has said that if he could go back, he would’ve gotten rid of the robot and not killed off Apollo. I think he felt it needed to be something really dramatic to get Rocky back into the ring, but that could’ve been accomplished with Apollo getting badly injured. He didn’t know there would be more movies to build on their friendship. In the next movie, his real son, Sage Stallone plays Rocky Jr. and coincidentally, in Rocky II when Rocky Jr is born, that is Stallone younger son. He was born just in time to be in the movie.

Cool!! Yeah I can see why this movie could be people’s favourite or worst. Super disappointed we won’t see Apollo anymore. Thanks for the info!

If you would like some more 80's shows to watch try The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, Big Trouble in Little China, The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Those are all great classics.
