I love that the finale took place in Las Vegas! The friends were super supportive in coming to see Joey but man I feel sorry for him at the moment. Also Ross and Rachel were HILARIOUS! Enjoy :)

Ahhh another Friends reaction! Always love watching these with you! 🥰 Question though, did we jump from episode 18 to the final two episodes of the season or did I miss something?😅

Raquel Perodin

Nothing was skipped the other reactions should be on the channel, he did watch them.

Markus Friedel

Seriously, if you manage to wait a week until watching the next episode(s), you can list that under "Superpowers" in you cv

Rich H

The dealer was played by Thomas Lennon, and you're right he has been in a lot of things. He was actually with Matthew Perry in at least a couple of things : the movie "17 Again", and the remake of the TV show "The Odd Couple".

Samuel

"Are we gonna get a wedding?!" I was like ooooohh yeah xD

AnastasiaSandm

Mrs Ross and Mr Rachel absolutely stole those episodes 😅

fix

Hmm I don't think Chandler is wrong at all for freaking out. If my boyfriend is having lunch with his ex I'll be super2 piss too. I think his reaction is justified.

Britt Frijhoff

Thank you! I didn’t really see them at first but I found them! Am new to patreon so am still figuring things out😅😊

Raquel Perodin

Chandlers originally storyline was cheating but Mathew refused and wanted them to write something else because he felt people would hate Chandler if he did.

Tara

I remember that story about Matthew Perry wanting to change the story because he was right. We never would’ve forgiven him and that could’ve been catastrophic for the show. I can’t remember if the writers had planned on breaking them up if the storyline happened

Tara

I also love Ross and Rachel the way they were in these episodes. David and Jennifer have great chemistry and over the past few seasons, their physical comedy has been so great. I can’t wait to watch season 6 with you.

Katie Niekamp

I absolutely love that moment when Joey hits on Rachel and she responds positively and his demeanor instantly drops because it was actually a test of her drunkenness. That's such a Joey maneuver. Alcohol test by flirting. "Ross, don't let her drink anymore!" He's definitely one of the most protective friends.

Tom

The writers consistently found amazing twists and cliffhangers for the finales. Sometimes so crazy I don't know how the cast made them work.

Amanda P

My husband and I quote "that must be our alcohol and beers" all the time 😂

Heida

They were really setting it up making you think Chandler and Monica were gonna break up. But their fighting was so funny and when they made up and decided to get married it was so sweet. Ross and Rachel were hilarious 😂 Based on what I could find, while marriages in which one or both parties is under the influence definitely does happen, they are usually invalid. Though not necessarily due to being intoxicated but more because you must provide your ID and a marriage license (as with any marriage anywhere), and when you're that drunk you usually don't do that. You must also have a witness that is someone other than the officiant. In the case of Ross and Rachel, maybe they had a witness other than Phoebe and Joey but I doubt they filed all the legal requirements. Luckily, Nevada laws allow for you to be able to get your Vegas marriage annulled based on the very fact that you were intoxicated at the time. After Matthew Perry's passing, actress Lisa Cash who played the attendant in Ross and Rachel's flight, revealed she was originally supposed to play a hotel worker who would have an affair with Chandler. They even rehearsed the scene but Matthew eventually went to the writers and convinced them to scrap the storyline as he knew the fans would never forgive Chandler for cheating on Monica. Thomas Lennon, who appears as the blackjack dealer Joey believes is his identical hand twin, starred with Matthew Perry (and Zac Efron) in the movie 17 Again and the television reboot of The Odd Couple. I highly recommend 17 Again. The lurker is played by Jeanette Miller, the same lady that Phoebe shoos away from the donation pot in "The One with the Inappropriate Sister". Joey's pin number 5639 spells out 'Joey' in old time texting 😉 Next episode is the first one after Courteney Cox and David Arquette got married IRL, so as a joke the opening credits had Courteney billed first before Jennifer and the main cast/crew all had the name "Arquette" after their actual names. Also, I don't live alone but I'm actually almost naked most of the time because I'm so damn hot all the time (and I live in Iceland!).

Teej

Just watched and I totally forgot that that’s how that season finale ends, especially knowing what comes after. 😆

Diana Woods

Since having a housemate I realized how often I would just walk around naked 😂He turned out to be a big problem so he's gone now. I'm now appreciating walking around in the nip 🤣

Equinox

What happened to the other episodes of friends?

PumpkinPanic

joey was right going all in, you lose more the more you play, if you go all in from the start, you will win more then you would in the long term or lose the same amount right away.

Paul

Especially if that ex is Tom Selleck, I think men should get a pass in being jealous of that guy lol

Heather Geer

Drunk Ross and Rachel is absolute GOLD. Your reaction to the finale was everything I wanted lol.

Tingeling

Honestly… I don’t really like these two episodes. Joey’s hand twin storyline is so cringingly bad I have to hide behind my pillow. He was never the brightest mind of the bunch, but the hand twin thing is just stupid beyond measure. They truly did his character a disservice the longer the show ran. Phoebe has become so mean, especially towards Chandler. Honestly it seems like she would be glad not to hang out with him. She keeps insulting him, and I just don’t find it funny. The last moment twist/cliffhanger didn’t work for me either. I feel very tired of the show going back to R&R every season finale (except season two, which didn’t have one). In the first season it felt fresh and interesting. In the third season I thought it made them both seem bad, and I wish they’d come up with smth better. In the fourth season it started to feel repetitive to me. Then in this season they go back to that well again. They should have made it a C&M cliffhanger this season, will they go through with getting married or not? A R&R cliffhanger has been done to death already. Let’s move on to newer things.

Equinox

Funny you say that because later on the critism from the fans is that we got too much C & M and they missed the R & R dynamic when the show was airing. The viewership was declining hard.

Tingeling

That’s funny, I’ve mostly seen people online wishing they’d let R&R fizzle for good already. Though maybe I just stumbled across a different group of fans (who may be in the minority). I don’t think declining viewership had mainly to do with either couple, though. It’s natural for a show to peak and then have people tuning out in later seasons. I think flanderization of the main cast probably played a bigger role in the quality drop. For instance there are three episodes I can think of at the top of my head where Joey acts so stupid it’s beyond belief. There are definitely episodes I love from the later seasons, but overall there’s a clear drop in quality.

Raquel Perodin

It has been a while since we’ve gotten anything from Ross and Rachel. Relationship wise together. Chandler and Monica have been the focus of quite a few episodes lately with pretty much an entire season so far focused majorly on them. Don’t get me wrong I’d rather have Monica and Chandler but they’ve balanced them out rather well with how much attention each couple gets.

Rhetorical Thrill

I think this is the last of the episodes I've seen more than once. After this I only watched them once, as they aired, though I've seen clips on Instagram and such. There's still good stuff to come but for me this is the last of the great iconic episodes.

Rhetorical Thrill

I feel like the only characters who really get better are Chandler, Rachel, and Ross. Chandler and Rachel because they become more mature and well rounded, Ross because the exaggerated comedy ended up being a good fit for him. Phoebe and Joey are already starting their decline here, Phoebe with the meanness and Joey with the stupidity. Monica has a little bit before she becomes a cartoon, but by the end I can barely stand her.

Tingeling

They keep going back to R&R for the season finale cliffhangers, though. That’s what I wish they had at least attempted to balance more properly. Spoiler alert for anyone who hasn’t seen the rest of the show, but out of the seven seasons finales that had cliffhanger endings, I can’t remember a single one that wasn’t about R&R.

Equinox

Because that was the will-they-won't-they couple that brought in a lot of viewers back then and they got bored of C & M because they were too perfect without drama. C& M is a bit too perfect even if you were best friends first.

Derrick Belone

Your reaction to Ross & Rachel getting married was everything! 😂 I loved it.. 😍

Tingeling

True, but a cliffhanger ending doesn’t have to revolve around a couple. There are six friends, plenty of room for more storylines for season finales. For instance they could have a huge fight between two or more of them. Joey could be offered a huge role, ending with a ”will he move to LA” thread. Phoebe could find out something new about her family. It just gets too predictable for me when it’s always R&R, which seems like the last thing you’d want for a season finale cliffhanger (though maybe I’m wrong). For me personally, it also feels more repetitive and stale each time they go back to this well. If they mixed it up a bit I would feel a lot more excitement when a R&R cliffhanger did come along.
