So great to finally see Korra delving more into the spiritual world! Still haven't quite figured out what the big picture will look like fore this season but not a bad start to Season 2. Enjoy :)

So I’m currently on Episode 2, and I just wanted to point out that it makes sense Korra is struggling to trust the people around her, especially her father. Since arriving at the Southern Tribe she’s learned that he and Tenzin and the White Lotus lied to her for her entire life about why she was kept in isolation for most of her childhood (it wasn’t actually Aang’s wish) and now she’s learned that her father kept a huge secret about his past from her. She’s not only his child, she’s the avatar and she’s now an adult (she’s 18, the age most people in our time gain independence), so it makes sense that she’s frustrated that the people around her keep treating her like a defenseless kid.

Yeah that’s definitely one of things I missed hey. I think because the guy she was trusting was already obviously the antagonist, it somehow invalidated her feelings of trust towards everyone else to me which isn’t right. In hindsight she had every reason to feel hurt and confused but yeah it was still crazy she trusted the other bloke so much.

I’m just going to add that it was kind of nonsense that they were making her choose between training with Tenzin and training with Unalaq. Evil or not, he has a skill that’s pretty useful. She could easily work in spirit taming training in between refining airbending and meditation practice.
