Dude. I cannot decide if I hate Nathan or feel sorry for him. I mean, it's both, but I don't know which one is dominate at any given moment.

That father/son basketball game was ridiculous. Fuck Dan. He's making me lean heavily towards feeling sorry for Nathan and I don't wanna do that!

OMG. Payton. Someone needs to get that girl some help. Seriously. I really like Payton and I don't wanna see her self-destruct.

Also, I hate when Lucas and Hayley fight. They both just want what's best for the other, but are potentially going about it the wrong way.

I love Keith and all but it really bothers me how casually and blithely that he says how Nathan is like a stranger to him. He speaks as if it doesn't bother him that one of his nephews is a stranger to him. My heart breaks for Nathan. It's especially underlined for me in that sweet moment between Keith and Nathan in the locker room. Lucas benefitted from having Keith in his life. All Nathan got was a mostly absent mother and an abusive father. You can see how different Nathan could have turned out at this point if he had a solid dude like Keith in his life (or really anyone good in his life). I'm so glad that Deb is back and deciding to have a more active role in Nathan's life. I think it is so important that Nathan has someone to take some of the weight off of his shoulders. Deb is almost holding Dan back from Nathan by confronting him and trying to keep him in check. Nathan needs someone in his life to truly care about him and his mental wellbeing. Btw. I'm actually starting to look forward to Mondays because of your OTH reactions. I love them so much! <3

Hi! I just subscribed and got caught up on your OTH reactions! One of my favorite shows! Looking forward to watching it with you. Also, I am from the South and currently live in NC. I will vouch that high school sports can be a big deal in some places. In my area, going to the football game on Friday night was an event. Overall, football is #1, but NC is also a big basketball state (mostly b/c of the history and concentration of basketball at Duke, UNC and NC State).

Seriously, the more I watch, the more I feel bad for Nathan. No, he's not perfect, but look at where he's coming from. I'm with you; as much as I like Keith, there is no reason for him to treat Nathan the way he does simply because he and Dan don't get along. But that said, I really do like Keith and I'm loathe to talk badly about him. Lol. I'm wondering if, after seeing how shitty Dan is to Nathan, maybe Lucas and he can strike some sort of truce and share Keith? I'm not sure what the solution is, but there is no way Nathan can continue to live like this. Thank you! They are so much fun to do!

That's so surprising to me. I never went to a single sporting event in high school. None of my friends did. I'm in NJ and it was not popular here at all. I'm loving this show so much. I cannot believe how quicky I got into it and how hard it is not to just binge the whole thing!
