This time we have some important gameplay additions based on feedback I got from testers, as well as a new voluntary Ghost TF, meaning all monster forms now have voluntary paths!

First, we have sight-cones. You can see the area the enemies can see and can try to avoid them. You also have about 3/4ths of a second before the enemies spot you, so you can hide or even run past them. You also can sneak up on enemies to get an initiative bonus. Snake would be proud!

I've also added Catalysts for Health, Attack, Evade, Initiative, and Accuracy. Catalysts permanently buff your stats if you find enough of them and they persist through chapters, so finding them all for Mei will make Jeanne/Sanya/Christine/Lotta/Talia's life a lot easier! Scour the world to find them in blue chests!

Of course there were also a bunch of balance changes and bugfixes. All that remains is the art, which I am assured should be done within two weeks.

I really enjoyed the update. There were a lot of new little additions here and there that made it worth my time to restart my game because I would have missed dialogues otherwise. Now I did notice that this version seemed to remember dialogues from previous saves even though I deleted all the old ones out. They weren't magenta and I had options that shouldn't have been there yet. Also, when I got the voluntary ghost form I noticed that somehow I had the asbility to transform into the werecat even though I hadn't gone there yet beyond passing through. I didn't even lose a fight with them and I didn't have the form before getting the ghost. Something is also weird with it because I can fight werecats if I tf into that shape with this bugged transform. Its like I have the form but the triggers were never fired off that go with it. The last thing I thought I would suggest is a rare chance of maybe adamantine flakes dropping from combat. I would really appreciate that a lot and I'm sure that others would too since the shops have very limited inventory that never restocks. Also they get cluttered from selling a lot of junk item drops too. Otherwise I love the new update and I can't wait for the next release.

So for the first set of bugs, I'm not really sure on those. Had you run the game and then used Quit To Title to start a new one? If so then I might have forgotten to reset a variable. Otherwise I'm not sure, so I'll look into that as best I can. As for the Adamantite, Powder drops rarely from Alraunes and Bees, while Flakes drop rarely from Zombees and powder somewhat more often from them. I've also redone the vendor code so they will trim their lists of trash drops when you leave and revisit them. I'm also adding new functionality so they have an infinite amount of powder for sale.

I could try to wipe out my saves again and attempt to rush to get florentine to see if she still talks about the cell phone right at the beginning of the game even though you haven't been to that merchant yet. Oh I found another issue. That one room in the hive where there are two blue chests. The right one shows a weapon icon but it says it is a health upgrade instead. Don't know what's up with that one. Lemme try to replicate the bug. I'll move all my save files out of the folder after closing the game and then create a new game and rush to florentine.

That time it didn't do it to me when I speed ran it to Florentina. But this morning I know it did it to me. I don't know why it had those topics flagged already nor do I know why it had all the topics open as if I had made it to the end of the chapter already when I had already deleted all the save files after closing the game. This time however, it didn't have any of the topics flagged at the beginning. Nor were there topics that shouldn't have been there at that point.

We'll just have to keep an eye out for it, then. In about 3 months I'll probably find some errant piece of code and go "Ooooohhhhhh I get it". Until then, remain vigilant.
